Ranger History: He was the first Red Ranger and the second Gold Ranger.
Trey (a powerful Alien from the planet Triforia) came to earth to help the Zeo Rangers in their darkest hour of need. Trey couldn't control his unique Alien powers (he splits into three seperate men whenever he is in danger) so he asked the Zeo Rangers for help. They sent Trey to the Power-Chamber so he could temporarily transfer his Gold Ranger powers to Billy. Trey was hoping that Billy could take his place as the Gold Ranger until he could found a way to unite his three distinct personalities (Trey of courage, Trey of Heart and Trey of Wisdom).
Billy wasn't able to handle the powers so Tommy brought Jason back to Angel Grove to become the new Gold Ranger. Jason received the Golden Power Staff and he became the Gold Ranger. He helped the Rangers in some important battles and he commanded the awesome Pyramidas (and the Warrior Wheel) for a couple of months. Jason's body eventually rejected the alien powers so he had to give them back to Trey.
Jason became the Red MMPR Ranger for a second time after Serpentera attacked the earth.
Jason is a fierce warrior and a great leader. He is also a loyal friend with a soft spot in his heart for kids and young adults. He loves to help them learn martial-arts and inner-strength. His best friend is Tommy Oliver the only ranger that equals him. They have a (friendly) rivalry from time to time. Time will tell if Jason will come back to help another group of Rangers down the line.
