'Half the Time of Friendship' is a reflective track that is just thankful for who you are and what you have - I hope it'll make anyone reading it just stop and think - what do they have, and what do they have to be thankful for? Most of the song talks about my friends, of which i'd like to think I have plenty. They really are fantastic, so this song's for you :-)

'Half the Time of Friendship'

Wind blowing trees
Rustling through the leaves
That's why I love this place
The human race
Pretty good occasionally

If you give it half the time

It doesn't have to look quite perfect
Like that supermodel
We think we have to be

But look inside
You'll be pleasently surprised
By what you see

If you give it half the time

Sun comes out
Pushing through the clouds
Like a morning's rain
Through shrouded mist

This little place we live
I know it seems like it can give
Endless pain

But look inside
You'll be pleasently surprised
By what you gain

If you give it half the time

I know it might not all make sense
But we're living in the perfect tense
I know it should not be this way
But I know one thing today
I'm happy to be here right now
Pleased to see all my friends right now

They can be pretty cool
If you give it half the time
They could be pretty great
If you take the time
To wait in line

Money isn't everything
I know I shouldn't act like it is
Neither is health
But everybody drinks to it

No, the important thing is you

If you give it half the time
You'll find out just what you can be
If you give it half the time
You'll find out just what everyone
sees in you

If you give them half the time
Everybody will see something in you
That they'll never forget
They'll never stop and wonder
There'll never be any hunger
For a good friend

Because thats what you are

If I give you half the time
I will be pleasently surprised
I don't need to spend half the time
Analysing what you do to me

I can see it in your eyes

I can see it in your eyes

I can see it in your eyes

Because i've given you half the time
You've had the light of day
Made the difference
In a way
I could call you my friend
To the end

I hope you can call me that too

That's how much I think of you...

Please let me call you that too

Please, oh please let me
Call you that too…
