--Some old news I suppose, but I tthought it needed to be said that there with be a ninth season without David Duchovny's participation. I applaud him, but as to the direction of the show, I direct you to the rant section. Back to Duchovny, though;) I wanted to post a few recent articles in which he voiced his feelings about how Mulder was written out of the series and his decision to leave. I have to say I admire him even more than I did previously. He voiced some of the concerns that I've long been having and that's pretty damn nice to know that someone involved understands where the fans (well, at least a part of the fandom) are coming from. Anyway, here are the articles:
David Duchovny: The Truth Stinks
--It's been awhile:) I guess not too much on the news front, but I just wanted to "shout at the heavens, and anyone who will listen that..." Mulder will be in the first episode of February!!! And we have approximately 30 days until he's back!!! lol, I'm so happy about that. David has been working on a film called Evolution, which will be out this summer. And Gillian's performance in The House of Mirth has created quite a bit of Oscar buzz. Woohoo! Unfortunately, however, the film still hasn't been released here in boring old St. Louis:( Here's hoping it will be over the coming months.

--November 5th is approaching rapiidly! We're almost there... just about a week to go. Other than X-Philes For Mulder, which seems to be getting a bit too militant for my tastes, the Haven has started another campaign. What's really cool is that in order to get your name on the list you have to send a donation to Amnesty International, an amazing organization that helps political prisoners. [My college doesn't have an Amnesty club, which is very disappointing... if I were more assertive I'd start my own;)] To find out more info, click on the banner below.
