Ranma 1/2 Character Guide

	Ranma While training with his father, he fell into the "Pool of the Drowned Girl", and since then, as soon as he touches cold water, he will turn into a girl. He is often chased by men and women alike, and is engaged to Akane.
-----	Akane Although she doesn't admit it, Akane really does love Ranma. She is pretty violent, and had a crush on Dr. Tofu. She is a bad cook, but a good martial artist.
	Shampoo Shampoo is a great martial artist who comes from an Amazon tribe. While Ranma was in China, his female version beat her, and as an Amazon rule, Shampoo gave Ranma the "Kiss of Death", vowing to kill the female Ranma. However, she later on also got beaten by the male Ranma and since then, has tried to marry him. She later fell into the pools and can turn into a cat.
	Kasumi Kasumi is Akane's oldest sister. She is the "ideal girl" of the family - calm, reasonable, and a good cook. She is Akane's role model.
	Nabiki Nabiki is the second oldest sister and is more mischievous than Kasumi. She loves money and even sells pictures of Akane and Ranma to Kuno.
	Genma Genma is Ranma's father, who, while training with Ranma, fell into the "Pool of the Drowned Panda" and hence, becomes a Panda when touched with hot water. He doesn't know too much about parenting and is a bit callous at times, but still loves Ranma.
	Dr. Tofu Dr. Tofu is the doctor that everyone goes to when they're in need of medical help. While he is usually very reliable, he becomes disasterous when around Kasumi. He is madly in love with her, but she doesn't seem to realize it.
	Kuno Kuno is a strange dude... ^_^; He is the only one who doesn't realize that the "pig-tailed girl" is actually Ranma. He always has trouble choosing between the female Ranma and Akane. He is quite delusional, thinking that both of them love him.
	Kodachi Kodachi is Kuno's sister. She, like so many other characters in this anime, chases after Ranma hoping to win his love. She is known for her black roses, and often dresses up in a leotard.
