December 13, 2001:

Lots of activity in The Seagreen Incorruptible camp during the last month.
Bryan Ward has been busy pirating computer software and pouring through his massive collection of "Avonlea" episodes.
Additionally, Bryan got a chance to discuss American plumbing and geographical trivia with space rock icon Sonic Boom earlier this November. Bryan is unsure if he is currently a member of E.A.R.

Progress on the record and novel is so good that it's almost scary.
After leaving the blues for punk rock, Bryan has taken to recording a Christmas record of original songs written over the last week and a half. Several titles to be included include "Christmas Light Heaven," "I Came Back From the Dead to Wish You a Merry Christmas," "Barbed Light Christmas Wire," "Christmas Wreath is Promoted to Radiant Halo," Christmas Tree Heaven," "Igloo Trauma," "All the Angels in Heaven Vs. the Blob" & "Christmas Spaceship." Lyrics and full track listing will be posted in the near future. This record will be included as part of the "Say Goodbye to Yourself" set.

The Seagreen Incorruptible recently held a five minute recording session at which Brian Thomas layed down a bass track for "Stereo Babies." We must now add the babies.

Bill Lyon did better than expected this semester! If you'd like, you can send him a congradulatory e-mail at our address.
Lyrics and track listing will be updated shortly once Bryan sends out his Christmas cards.

November 5, 2001:

In the last month Bryan Ward met the Past/Future Gnome, talked a Sunsetrider into relinquishing her firearm, changed his name to Jimmy Cinnamon, fell in love all over again with "Astral Weeks," and vowed to only write, record, and perform the blues.

With the help of Defender drummer Angel Ledezma, Bryan has been staging his rewrite of the Shakespeare's Julius Ceasar to mass acclaim across the Chicagoland area.

Bryan's novel has been expanded considerably in the last month, now featuring several new extended passages of Baroque game show kissing.

Recording has been virtually non-existent since Bryan was struck with two concurrent viruses. Several new songs have been written and will be recorded in the near future. These include "Underage Beethoven Sneaks into Sports Bar," "We are Now Joining Your Life in Progress," "Wainwright's Pumpkin Field," "Sleepy Christmas Robots Neslted in the Cedars," and "Dissolved Christmas is Burning in the Tropics."

September 28, 2001:

Work on the record once again resumes!

After a spiritual journey to Wisconsin, Bryan has begun a new round of writing and recording - specific tracks currently unknown.
Lots of prose has been written as well and will be worked into the "Say Goodbye to Yourself" manuscript in the near future.

Brian Thomas & Bill Lyon have been relieved of their respective duties concerning the remix of "The Beleagured Earl."
Bryan has commissioned DJ Boat Show to remix the track as well as several others.

Various live performances are currently in the works, despite our booking agent being stranded in Thailand.

September 24, 2001:

The Seagreen Incorruptible regret having to cancel their performance last Saturday. Our apologies to whoever even heard about it (unlikely) or even cared (more unlikely). The show may be rescheduled in the next few weeks, but why?

Bryan Ward has been staying busy by keeping a log of his nightmares.

If you need something to cheer you up, check out our new links.

September 20, 2001:

Bill Lyon was so shocked by The Shaggs' "Philosphy of the World" LP that he slammed Bryan's fingers in a doorframe. This tragic freakout has left Bryan incapable of playing anything but new wave songs.
Accordingly, this seemed like a good time to completely give up on the record again.

While the "tape recorder" disc is still being worked out, The "wedding" disc has been eliminated from the set.
Additionally, all of the tracks currently completed for "Say Goodbye to Yourself" will all be mixed together thus reducing three LP's worth of finished material to one single track.
Very economical.

September 15, 2001:

What a shitty month.

September 8, 2001:

To the horror of his friends, Bryan Ward has recently insisted on tape recording himself at all times with a portable microcassette recorder, presumably for use on some part of the upcoming album.
If anyone has any blank microcassettes they would be willing to donate, please send an email to "[email protected]"

After an intensive scouting period, Indiana native Caroline Evans is expected to give voice to "Angel Skull" on the record. She has yet to be approached.

September 1, 2001:

As another month passes, The Seagreen Incorruptible collectively laugh as the release date for "Say Goodbye to Yourself" is pushed back for the umpteenth time.

Bryan Ward is currently recordings tracks for several new songs including "Valentinitis," "Angels Control the Storehouses of Snow," and "Take Up Smoking in December." Things are going pretty well, actually.

Brian Thomas was recently featured on Chicago radio earlier this week to promote the re-release of the notorious Italian gore classic "Cannibal Holocaust." Unfortunately, the Elmhurst Jazz band showed up and quickly took control of the broadcast until impending thunderstorms closed out the evening.

Rumor has it, Bill Lyon has been experimenting with various recipes for his own brand of quality ice cream. Best of luck!

Recent updates to the site include a set of new links and constantly revised lyrics and track listings for the "Say Goodbye to Yourself" page. A great way to kill time during your stupid computer class.

August 23, 2001:

Life continues for The Seagreen Incorruptible.
"Digital Werewolf" is currently being recorded in Bryan's room to the terror of the entire neighborhood.
Bryan has also commissioned Brian Thomas to record solo piano interpretations of several tracks from the upcoming record, including "Robot Blood" and "Alien Deer."

In other recent news, Bryan Ward produced and mixed a limited edition, live recording from Nova Sonic Down Hyperspace's 2001 Empty Bottle performance.
He also wrote some really good liner notes.

August 9, 2001:

"The Beleagured Earl" has kicked Bryan's ass for the last two weeks, leaving him suffering once again from anxiety, paranoia, blank stares, delerium, strange temple pains, difficulty separating dreams from reality, unexplained bruises, and social withdrawl.
The tracks, which have been finished for three months, had been mixed dozens of times, but with unsatisfactory results. This resulted in Bryan digitally editing the song over several painstaking, five-hour long sessions.
The solution arrived to him coming onto Oak Park Ave. at the intersection of Justamere Rd. That being, to take all the best pieces of the several shitty mixes and criss-cross them across the stereo spectrum.
Bryan still has the bruises, blank stares, and social withdrawl, but his temple pains are pretty much gone.

"Spacejackhammer" has gone much better than expected.

Rumor has it that Bill Lyon, stricken with Hepatitis from the Taco Bell in Crestwood, has left the band to seek out the fountain of youth in Florida.
Rest assured, Bill Lyon merely had a psychosis which left him incapacitated in a Floridian jail through the week.
As a result, The Seagreen Incorruptible have halted all rehearsals and recording sessions in effort to bring Bill safely back home.
Upon his return, the band will play miniature golf.

Bryan Ward was as good as his word and, after several weeks of complete musical unproductivity, wrote arrangements for four of his last songs in ten minutes.
As you read this, Bryan is recording the last phase of the record.

Everyday, Brian Thomas wonders if his Micromars record will be delivered...

July 30, 2001:

Over the last week, Bryan has dedicated himself to the rewrite of "Say Goodbye to Yourself" - the short novel.
Sources close to Bryan indicate that he is very pleased with the new draft which reportedly further clarifies the role of Cassette Tape in the Sun as well as sharpening the long section concerning Well Dressed Man and Man with a Cashmere Beard's spectral after hours tour company. It is believed that the extensive "space arm piano" and "reindeer cylcone" passages are next in line for further retouching.

Bill Lyon and Bryan Ward have rediscovered their love of miniature golf!
Plans to add a miniature golf section to the web page are already in the works, featuring scores of recent matches, reviews of courses, and original songs by The Seagreen Incorruptible concerning the sport.

In a strange coincidence, The Seagreen Incorruptible recently all met one another at a donut shop in Oak Lawn.

Months of recording and typing have left Bryan Ward's right arm in poor air hockey playing condition. He is set to embark on a strict regiment of therapy, practice, and anger management workshops until his game has returned to peak form.

July 23, 2001:

Last week, Bryan Ward became the first juror in the history of the Cook County Court System to wear a Spacemen 3 t-shirt during a trial.
Bryan Ward, we congratulate you!

Against the better judgement of his beard, Brian Thomas has joined The Seagreen Incorruptible as a full time bassist.
Brian has expressed an interest in restoring his locally famous ugly bass with the full support of the band.

Bill Lyon is still puzzled over a recent stalking incident at work.

Additionally, he is suffering from a unique condition in which the patient displays an acute, almost extraterrestrial, sensitivity to television radiation.
Bill is doing very well and his condition requires no immediate treatment.
If you wish to send Bill a letter of sympathy, a funny poem, or an annagram, please send an email care of "Bill Lyon - unknown extraterrestrial television radiation condition" to [email protected].

Concerning his upcoming LP, Bryan Ward is currenty recording the songs which comprise the Spacejackhammer / Santa Claus theme of the record. Aside from a few re-recordings, this will be the last serious phase of studio work.

"Say Goodbye to Yourself" - the short novel, is currently undergoing a complete rewrite. This news saddens and excites us.

July 9, 2001:

You have not been forsaken.

The Seagreen Incorruptible have actually been rehearsing for upcoming live performances complete with a PA and mic stands.
Bill Lyon and Bryan Ward will both be playing guitar and singing with the help of robot drummer Steve Munoz and a rotating cast of sexy, under-age females.

Live dates will be posted here for no one to ever see.

"Say Goodbye to Yourself" - the novel and triple record - will probably be done by late July / early August for no one to ever hear or read.
The only way to get the record anyway will be to go to Bryan's house and personally request your copy. You'll probably have to talk to him too.

Brian Thomas recently got to play his guitar outside, under the stars.

Bryan Ward has been diagnosed as suffering from anxiety disorder.

May 8, 2001:

By popular demand, Bryan Ward is scheduled for a handful of theremin performances this summer, backed by Novasonic Down Hyperspace.
Dates include:

May ?? - unknown motel, IL
June, 6th - Double Door; Chicago, IL
July, 5th - Metro; Chicago, IL
Several dates in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Greece are in the works.

While work on his solo record will likely extend into the summer, Bryan Ward has already completed a great majority of the Marilyn Monroe EP.
The EP, which should be finished later in the month, is essentially instrumental, consisting of original tracks digitally manipulated by computer.

May 3, 2001:

Progress and accomplishment describe the activities of The Seagreen Incorruptible as of late!

Progress on the new record is far exceeding expectations.
Bryan Ward is currently writing and recording a new song every other day.

We spoke to Bryan the other day and he offered this:
"Well, I had some themes that kept appearing and now everything is sort of cross pollinating. There's nature, video games, snow, fatherhood, robotics, love, courtship, birds, the personification of clouds, arms, and a few other things that just keep getting added to. The record is becoming really autobiographical in a way that has almost nothing to do with me."

"I haven't heard very much of the record in sequence yet, but I honestly am very excited about how everything's coming together. I can't remember the last time I felt this confident or excited."

Bryan has also just finished a wonderful futuristic, ambient arrangement of an untitled Renaissance dance using a midi-based program called OpCode.
The track will have its world premiere in Peoria, IL this afternoon at 1:30 in the Global Communications Center at Bradley University.
Please drop by if you're in the area.

Also, Bryan's novella, working title - "I Think I'm Going to Die in a Haunted House" is in the very last stages of completion.
The story follows a young girl trying to find her father, who has gone missing in a haunted house, with the aid of her friends.
Once completed, it is likely that the story will be made available through this site or given away free with the first copies of the new record.

April 18, 2001:

Now that problems with our account staus have been sorted out, we will be able to once again bring you regular updates on all things related to The Seagreen Incorruptble.

Posthumous Music Volume 5, now entitled "Say Goodbye to Yourself," is currently scheduled to be a double record with a third bonus disc consisting of the untitled Marilyn Monroe EP and several bonus tracks, alternate mixes, and outtakes.

Bryan Ward has recently added another buffer between himself and the completion of the record.
Beginning last month, Bryan has insisted on digitally editing every last one of his completed tracks and will use the process to further improve on new recordings.

After recording his series of piano demos, Bil Lyon now plans on recording a set of rough tracks with Bryan Ward adding post-production work and mixing.

Lyrics for Posthumous Music Volume 5 - "Say Goodbye to Yourself" have been updated!

April 11, 2001:

Well, things are going pretty well for The Seagreen Incorrptible.
Our last update seems to have been incorrectly logged, so we'll do our best to bring you up to the present.

Bill Lyon has recently recorded a dozen demos of piano based songs intended for future live performance or re-recording.
Brian Thomas believes that "So Long" could be a hit and Bryan Ward agrees.
Bil Lyon is now in the enviable position of having no projects in the works.
What is next for the Invisible Minstrel?

Brian Thomas has returned safely to America!!

Buried in work, Bryan Ward is still writing the screenplay for "Preadventure 2," finishing up his novella "I Think I'm Going to Die in a Haunted House," - a young girl's journey to save her father from being killed in... a haunted house - and hopefully near the end of his solo record.
New songs recorded include:
Toss Me a Cigarette Across the Grand Canyon
The Archeaologist's Honolulu Diamond Blues
Cinnamon Bun
Oak Tree vs. Palm Tree
Monroe 9
In the 80's, They Called Them Programs (Tribute to 13 Ghosts)
Unbelievable Prairie
Steamboat Chloroform

Bryan will finish mixing the last of these this weekend and finish recording his last batch of songs, which will be done, hopefully in another month or two.
The last round of songs include:
Colonial Dream
Chandelier Shoes
I Want to Live in Another Dimension
I Wanna Be the Privateer of Your Heart
Remotely Fond
I'm Hallucinating at a Rock Concert
Cookies, Dope, & Whores
Retirement Party at Age 21
Robot Baseball Player is Trapped in the 9th Grade
Boat Show
The Beleagured Earl
Spacejackhammer
Zombies in the Recording Studio
Digital Werewolf
Valentinnitus
On second thought, maybe it will take a little longer.

February 20, 2001:

We apologize for the lack of recent updates. The Seagreen Incorruptible have been actually doing things lately.

Bill Lyon's record, now under the name "Rob Roy Las Flores" has been doing very well on the MP3.com charts and has earned the band $5! First word on Bill Lyon's next project will appear soon.

Bryan Ward is, of course, still recording.
He is currently working on two new tracks: "Orchard Near the Wormhole" and "Reverse Disintegration Trailerpark," both of which should appear on the upcoming record now titled "Hallucitannia."
Bryan is also working on "Preadventure 2: The Making of the Motion Picture of Preadventure." Mr Ward has declared his desire to see Michael Jordan and Peter O'Toole in starring roles.
If you want to see Bryan Ward playing guitar in a drunken stupor, check out one of the several Chicago dates by rock band Nova Sonic Down Hyper Space in the near future. He will be the one sitting on a chair near the back of the stage.
Bryan Ward will also have a regular column at www.novasonicdownhyperspace.com
Check it out in the near future!

Brian Thomas continues to play live around the Chicago area and will be embarking on some kind of international drug trafficking tour in the near future with the Elmhurst Jazz Band.

2000

November 8, 2000:

Bill Lyon had finally finished his record! Hurah!!

Formerly titled "Sugarplums," the record is now credited to "Tripping the Light Fantastic." A page dedicated to the record will appear in the near future.

After five months of defeat, Bryan Ward has finally completed "Fountain Room" with good vocals and everything.
"It's just there. I had to finish it, so every couple of weeks I'd work up the enthusiam again. There's no victory here," Bryan had said about the track.
Next week, Brian Thomas will add harmony vocals to "Cinammon Bun," which had been languishing virtually completed on the hard drive for months.

In the meantime, Bryan has been doing some writing including several short stories - "Leaves on Cars," "Angel Status," "Last Known Photographs," and "Robot Blood."
Once again, he plans on abandoning the record, this time in favor of a concept album inspired by Marilyn Monroe entitled "Say Goodbye to Yourself." Bryan has stated that any work on the record would be held up indefinitely by this new project.

"Baby," recently touched up for release by Bryan Ward, still may not be finished.
"Bill really liked it, I believe whereas Brian Thomas wasn't really blown away. I think that Bryan was looking for something on that song that he never really found," an insider reports.
"Baby" will in all likelhood be released or forgotten forever.

September 21, 2000:

"Baby" - the last track recorded by The Seagreen Incorruptible will likely be finished in a matter of days.
Bryan Ward, working off the original mix, is nearly done fleshing the song out with "babies and lasers."
Early reports indicate the track is a winner.

Bryan Ward continues to make little progress with his own material, again postponing "Cinnamon Bun," rejecting all existing mixes of "Cloud Checks into Hospital" & "Cloud Becomes the World's Greatest Lover," and writing more new songs than can be kept track of, the latest of which include "Zombies in the Recording Studio," "My Name Makes Adverbs Possible," "She Had All of Her Feelings Surgically Removed," "Space Age Roommate," "Oregon Trail Candle Holder," "Ski - Man with Drumstick Hands," and "Toss Me a Cigarette Across the Grand Canyon."

While his own record is once again in limbo, Bill Lyon has signed on as Bryan Ward's "creative consultant" at Bryan's request.
Hopefully, Bill's fresh perspective can...

September 14, 2000:

Bryan Ward has halted work on the almost totally finished "Cinnamon Bun" due in part to microphone problems.
All that remains to be recorded is one elusive vocal track and the song will be ready for mixing.

Bryan has spent the last few says working on an entirely new track entitled "Cloud Checks Into Hospital" - a kind of continuation of "Cloud Leaving Pinecone" featuring similar digital manipulations and loops of sound and voice.
Overdubbing of eight slide guitar and bass tracks is next on the schedule and from there the song will be spliced, re-edited, and overdubbed somemore.

In true band fashion, Bill Lyon is mailing Bryan Ward the master tapes of "Baby" - the final song The Seagreen Incorruptible will have worked on - in order to finally complete the track.

We are hearing great buzz on Bill Lyon's solo record, now entitled "Sugarplums" which is, of course, still undergoing drum overdubs.
Keep checking back for updates!

August 28, 2000:

Bryan Ward has completed the painful overdubbing and editing of the instrumental "Cloud Leaving Pinecone." This track has turned out remarkably well and will absolutely be included on the next upcoming release.

August 24, 2000:

The limits of current technology have eliminated Bryan's plan to feature "A Field Recording of Birds" as a download on this site in the manner he intended.
Presently, only one week later, he now intends on scrapping the track (in increasingly typical fashion) or incorporating it into another piece (in a more maddeningly increasing typical fashion). B-side?

After a bit of microphone trouble, Bryan is ready to finish the duet "Cinammon Bun" with guest vocalist, Laura Rosenberger of Peoria.
During the bleak and dry sessions for "Cinnamon Bun," Bryan recorded another new song "Honey, Our Neighbors Are Birds" in a half an hour. New vocals will either be soon recorded or the song will keep its original scratch track. The song's future is currently unknown.
Over the last few days, Bryan has been working on a track called "Cloud Leaving Pinecone" which features heavily effected tape loops and manipulations. This track will probably be finished in a few days and will be included on the next release or never again heard by anyone in this life.

Hopefully, Bill Lyon now has the finished master tape of his untitled solo record. We all look forward to hearing and sharing with you this project so long in our dreams and prayers.
Upon its completion, expect to see a page featuring information, insights, and interrogations.

August 15, 2000:

"A Field Recording of Birds" is now finished.
Bryan will make this track available for download through this page in the very near future.

August 12, 2000:

Good news for Bill Lyon fans!!
After more than a year of pain and suffering, the Invisible Minstrel is finally putting the finishing touches (drums, to be exact) on his collection of solo compositions.
More news as it develops...

Already ahead of schedule, Bryan Ward is ready to mix another song, this time "A Field Recording of Birds."
Bryan has brought this song back from a six month coma and features overdriven answering machine message from Brian Thomas.
Next up, he plans to record the footstomping showstopper that is "Cinammon Bun."

In the near future, Bryan will assemble a final mix of The Seagreen Incorruptible's final track "Baby" from the original master tapes featuring a new and improved sound effect and vocals.
This track may appear either on an upcoming retrospective box set or a "composite" Posthumous Music Volume 5 showcasing the latest and greatest from Bill Lyon and Bryan Ward.
Will "Flying Machine Built From a Bird Corpse" appear on such a record? Email your opinion to "[email protected]"

August 07, 2000:

Bryan Ward has just completed a new track! The song "Fountain Room" is the first from Bryan's new studio and will be featured on his untitled solo record.
Bryan has also finalized mixes of several songs intended for release on Posthumous Music Volume 5 for use at a later date.

Songs include:
I Live in an Arboretum
Privateer Intro
My Heart is a Haunted House
You Beat the Game - Parts 1-3
When the Sun Goes Down in Your Heart

He also intends on finishing a new song every two weeks until the end of the year.

July 11, 2000:

After one final wasted summer, The Seagreen Incorruptible will once again disband, this time permenantly, to pursue seperate projects.

Brian Thomas has plans to travel and pursue his love of jazz.

William Lyon will continue the painful quest to find a drummer and is rumored to be working on a record of his original poetry.

Bryan Ward has given up his novel and, with a new recording studio, has already begun working on a record of "romance novels."

May 9, 2000:

In one week's time, The Seagreen Incorruptible will reunite in Oak Forest. Bill Lyon and Bryan Ward have planned to flesh out some of Bryan's recent songs as well as finish the recording and mixing of "A Field Recording of Birds" and "You Beat the Game -Part One."

Bill Lyon, seeing the promise of his solo recordings left to rot, has decided to begin working on a new batch of songs. We look forward to them with great anticipation.

Unfortunately, Bryan Ward was unable to help Brian Thomas write program notes for an independent project, but is making good progress on his novel "Main Character Meets Narrator."

April 25, 2000:

Since the last update, The Seagreen Incorruptible have indeed made much progress, which to any other band would almost be insulting by comparison.
Bill Lyon will have had his twenty-first birthday by the time you read this. Congratulations and happiness to the Invisible Minstrel. He was alive and well the whole time!

Despite recent discussions with Warner Brothers, Brian Thomas failed to secure The Seagreen Incorruptible a recording deal.
Brian is however holding a performance of his own original compositions at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, IL on the evening of Mother's Day. The concert is reportedly entitled "An Evening of Music Dedicated to Elian Gonzolez."

Bryan Ward has finally completed mixing "My Heart is a Haunted House" which one music expert has called "beautiful."
Bryan has also learned that his home studio has suffered gross amounts of internal damage and that the cost of repairs would exceed its initial cost.
It is unknown whether Bryan will record tracks at Bill Lyon's home studio this summer or haul the band into Spectra Mobil studios to record a number of new songs.

Concerning the much delayed Posthumous Music Volume 5, Bryan has recently uncovered lost mixes and master tapes thought previously destroyed. Among the discoveries are wonderful finished mixes of "You Beat the Game - parts 2 & 3" and perhaps a finished mix of "When the Sun Goes Down in Your Heart." Bryan has booked time at Bill Lyon's studio the third week of May to remix the long-lost "You Beat the Game - part 1" session, thus completing the three part song, and a possible remix of "When the Sun Goes Down in Your Heart."

Bryan was recently quoted as saying "just about the only thing that could have saved me was having this whole thing just die. I feel much better now. Sometimes it can take you three years to find your way back from a wrong turn. Sometimes it can take longer."

Bryan Ward is now thirty pages into his novel "Main Character Meets Narrator."

April 2, 2000:

While Bryan Ward is still without a recording studio, he is currently perfecting a digital mix of "My Heart is a Haunted House."
After nearly two weeks of editing and fine-tuning, "My Heart is a Haunted House" is nearly finished. It is reported that the song has undergone a radical reconstruction, shedding off its chorus and several other sections in the process. Intended to be a simple pop song, the track is still rumored to be in the ten minute plus range.
"I don't have a clue what's going on anymore," Bryan Ward recently said. "I had a very definite idea of what it was that we were going to do with this record and now that's the very last thing in the world that I want to do."
If "My Heart is a Haunted House" is finished on time, it will be the first song finished for the new record by Bryan Ward since "I Live in an Arboretum," over four months ago. At this rate, Posthumous Music Volume 5 could take three years to complete, and since it is scheduled to be a double album, closer to six!
Bryan has written a number of new songs during the last few weeks including "Oak Tree Vs. Palm Tree" which is scheduled to be the first track to be recorded when his studio is once again operational sometime in late April.

No word on the recording sesions that Bill Lyon was planning to schedule sometime during the first two months of summer. We were not able to reach Bill for comment on the progress and recent excesses of the new record.

The Seagreen Incorruptible wish Brian Thomas good luck playing jazz to savages.

March 7, 2000:

Bryan Ward has posted some more lyrics from the new record.
Keep looking under the Posthumous Music Volume 5 page for updates.

Bryan is taking some time off from nursing his studio back to health to appear at the Double Door on March 10th, playing the theremin for Novasonic Down Hyperspace.

Bryan Ward plans to spend the second full week in March in Florida to recover some songs he might have lost there.

Bill Lyon and Bryan Ward are discussing plans to write a series of books compiling their various essays on the Choose Your Own Adventure series to steal grants from Universities all over the world.
With this money Bill and Bryan would set up their own production company to make their film "The Fake Repo-Men."

February 20, 2000:

After encouraging Brian Thomas to try his hand at writing, Bryan Ward has resumed work on the upcoming record after fixing some major bugs in his home studio.

Mixing on "My Heart is a Haunted House" is being postponed until Bryan can sneak into the computer system of Bradley University in order to mix the song digitally.

Bryan is currently recording a funk song called "A Field Recording of Birds."
He will then record "Retirement Party at Age 21" and "Cinnamon Bun" and plans on rerecording the lost classic "Alien Deer."

Bryan recently shot some film for a video, although the song is undisclosed and may not exist yet.

Bryan is also just getting a jump on his novel "Main Character Meets Narrator."

Bill Lyon is rumored to still be alive. We all look forward to his next project.

February 6, 2000:

Bryan Ward has suffered another major setback in the recording of tracks for the next record.

Once the final section of "My Heart is a Haunted House" is mixed down it will be edited back at Brian Thomas's studio in Palos Heights, IL and the track will be completed.
This will be the only song other than "I Live in an Arboretum" that Bryan has finished in more than two years.

In the meantime, Bryan Ward has begun in earnest on his novel "Main Character Meets Narrator."

January 25, 2000:

Bryan Ward has recently restored selected tracks on "Synchronized Dreaming" and the entire "Kamikaze Lost in a Snowstorm" record for their first ever issue on Compact Disc.

"Synchronized Dreaming" and "Kamikaze Lost in a Snowstorm" are now available for the first time on CD through the band's own Posthumous Music record label.

In the following months, "Bon Voyage" and "A Billionaire's Travel Guide to the Bank" will be restored and released on a single CD. An outtake compilation will also be released to coincide with the upcoming record.

January 23, 2000:

The Seagreen Incorruptible recently held a session to record live drum tracks to a handful of nearly completed songs. As a whole, the results proved unsatisfactory, although several songs may have been finished.

Bryan Ward once again attempts to finish "My Heart is a Haunted House," this time recording it with a new amplifier. After the song's completion, Bryan intends to create radical new mixes for every song recorded for the new record.

Bill Lyon has expressed interest in releasing his new material by itself, either as an EP or a solo record.

January 4, 2000:

Work continues on Posthumous Music Volume 5.
Bryan Ward will mix "My Heart is a Haunted House" in the next few days and has scheduled a session with Brian Thomas to add some vocals and instrumentations on several other songs.

Bill Lyon's further involvement in the record is now very questionable. Bill has shelved nearly a dozen of songs recorded in August, some of which are quite excellent, intending to add live drums. Bryan Ward recently overdubbed keyboard tracks on each of the songs and Brian Thomas has taken it upon himself to complete the crippled project.

The Seagreen Incorruptible film project is also dead. Bill Lyon has opted instead to co-direct a documentary on muscular distrophy. Bryan Ward will shoot some footage for an undisclosed project in February and may post his unrealized shooting script to coincide with the release of the new record.

1999

November 19, 1999:

Bryan Ward has postponed work on the new record to write a couple of essays- one concerning the hallucinogenic properties of sleepiness & another on the new popularity of the prime time game show.

October 7, 1999:

Several of Bill Lyon's pop songs recorded by the band this summer will be augmented by a live drummer and mixed for release.

Bryan Ward has begun recording tracks for The Seagreen Incorruptible's fifth record while working on his first novel. Previews may be posted in the near future. The novel may also appear on this site in serial form.

We are currently updating our webpage. For the next week or so, several sections of this page, especially relating to The Vaults, will be under construction. Thank you for your patience.

September 15, 1999:

Earlier this month, Bill Lyon and Brian Thomas added new guitar and piano tracks to several of Bill's songs The Seagreen Incorruptible originally recorded in August. Most of Brian Thomas's original guitar tracks as well as Bryan Ward's vocal and keyboard tracks have been erased.
Songs include:
Boy, Did She Try
Caroling
Everything's Changing
Heaven
Preparing for Something Else
Ripeness Is All
The Seagreen Incorruptible
Someone Lifted Me Up
They Laugh

Bryan Ward and Bill Lyon went into the Vaults earlier this summer and mixed several of Bill's outtakes from Posthumous Music Volumes 2 - 4. Songs mixed are:
Building Your Principles
Epiphany Bop
India Campground Electronic
Silent Night
Call to Arms of the Northern Lights
Wink Yukon
In A Seastorm
Superfunk

While these tracks are "finished" their fate has not yet been decided.

Posthumous Music Volumes One & Four are now available on CD in time for Halloween! Send us an Email if you'd like to get a copy.
