Seagal has been in the music biz for over 14 years. He got his start in the game as a DeeJay with a Reggae Sound that he co-founded named King Lion. As a DeeJay, he toured trhoughout the states and ventured to other countries spreading his love for music.His carreer has put him in positions to meet and build relations with artists like the Fugees, Special Ed, Bounty Killa, Junior"One Blood" Reid and many more. Over the last few years he began developing his skillz as a Producer. He states"After DJin for so many years, the next step for me was to get into Production".

He was born and raised in Guyana, South America. His family migrated to the United States in 1985 where/when Dancehall music and Hip-Hop were strongly on the rise.
Living in Brooklyn, the melting pot of New York City, Grinny Don soon found his true talent:Becoming a Reggae Artist.
It was the music of Reggae Legends Bob Marley and Yellow Man that first inspired his young mind.
Absorbing the styles of talented reggae artists like Shabba Ranks,Supa Cat, Mad Cobra and Hip-Hop artists like Rakim, Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane as a child, Grinny Don, the man, has become one of the few artist around to have such diversity in style.
