Creating a Web Page.
Opening and naming a web page.
The Frontpage Editor should be in the Navigation view, if not then click on the Navigation icon on the left hand side.
Double click on the Home Page icon.
Frontpage Editor starts, and the page titled Home Page appears. The name of the Web page is default.htm, and the title is Home Page. Typically, home pages are given either the name default.htm or the name index.htm, depending on the server software that you are using.
We are going to change the name of the page so that it is personalised for your web site.
From the menu items at the top of the page click on File and then Page Properties. The Page Properties dialog box appears. (The General tab is active).
In the Title box, delete any text that is in there and type a meaningful name for your web page and click OK.
We are now ready to start adding items to the web page.
