Hot and Humid again.  We lost the phone number of the women we were going to meet.OOPS
So we are resting here watching the SCREWPILE racing sailors motor out to the race.  A refridgeration expert/sailor came by to look at our broken fridge.  It seems that too much Freon was put into the system.  The fridge now gets cold but only to 50 degrees in this 90 degree weather.

Went to Church at St.Peters in the Solomons, MD.

James followed a local man to look at a hard bottom skiff.  The skiff looked great but beyond our budget.  Then the local man invited us to use his dock.  A hot Shower, dinner and great conversation rounded the day!  The more we travel the more good we see in fellow humans.  If only the human race as a whole could be as generous towards its members as the individuals that we meet.  Thanks Aram.

Awoke at the dock, bought groceries then set sail for Annapolis.  An hour before we reached Annapolis a thunderstorm rolled by.  We sailed for cover and anchored in the north river,  in the dark, in the lee of the land.

Due to whiteout rain conditions the night before, it was nice to see that we awoke at anchor in the location we were supposed to be, due to good navigation by Heather.  Sailed from the river and around the famous Chesapeak Nubble Light.  We taught Pierce how to drive the boat and handle the controls.  Went up Spa creek and anchored above the mooring field.    We made it to Annapolis...Maryland.

July 20 th to 30th
James looked for a job, while the rest of the family explored the town.
Annapolis, Maryland.
