As Kevin Findlay...

Kevin Findlay runs the "Come On Inn Caravan Park" which is located next door to Laura's house and owned by Bob Jelly. Kevin also works for the Shire as a self-taught handyman which means that he can turn up anywhere, at any time and complete a job with any level of ineptitude.

Kevin's wife, Lucy, is not around due to extenuating circumstances. He is the sole carer for his son Trevor and he's a good dad, although perhaps not conventionally so.

Kevin's acting credits are extremely diverse, starting in street theatre. Kevin then moved on to comedy venues, theatre, television and radio as well as writing for many mediums.

His many theatre roles include A Fortunate Life, Dealers Choice and After Dinner for The Melbourne Theatre Company. A highlight was being nominated for a Green Room Award for Aftershocks, a play based upon interviews with survivors of the Newcastle earthquake.

His television credits include The Man From Snowy River, Mercury, Shortwave, State Coroner and Blue Heelers. Recently Kevin has been presenting the TT FM Breakfast Radio Showin Melbourne. He is also currently writing a play entitled Chook. Most recently, however, Kevin has starred in the Working Dog production of The Dish.

Since his wife Ann returned to work as an accountant, Kevin has become a home husband to their two children, Megan and Kaitlyn.

Kevin shares the same first name as his character and he declares that they are similar in some ways - "We are pretty average handymen! He's funny, sociable, honest, a good father to his son, Trevor. He's also fairly naive and takes people at face value".
