Pearl Bay Co-Op

Location: The Pearl Bay Co-Op is located in the coastal town of Black Rock, near Sandringham, in Melbourne's southern suburbs.

Melway Reference: Map 85, H3.

Its Role in SeaChange: This building is new to SeaChange in season three, with Phrani setting up a small cafe there, and Max and Carmen relocating 'The Pearl Bay Oyster's' headquarters into the building following the demise of the boatshed in both in reality to make way for a restaurant and in the series due to a blunder on Bob's behalf. The co-op is set to be the perfect meeting place for the community of Pearl Bay, along with the Tropical Star.

History: Black Rock is also the location where the former H.M.V.S "Cerebus" ran aground offshore near the beach. The boat still remains there today and can be seen clearly from the coastline.
