Pearl Bay Courthouse

Its Role in SeaChange: The courthouse has been the center of many major events in the town of Pearl Bay. It's where Angus proposed to Karen, where Laura passes judgement on all the mishaps by locals, but most recently it was the scene of the staged siege. With the repaired bridge about to reopen, Meredith couldn't accept the prospect of Pearl Bay becoming a ghost town. Temporary rage-induced insanity caused her to storm to the courthouse brandishing a loaded gun. Meredith was staring down the barrel of a prison sentence when some quick thinking from Max saved they day.

History: The Pearl Bay Courthouse is in reality the Williamstown Life Saving Club, located just off the Esplanade.
