EPISODE DESCRIPTIONS
Mr. Ruggierio's Neighborhood:

In Part One of the Two Part Season Opener, we're treated to life after Pussy.  The Feds break into Tony's house several times, and plant the best bug that I've seen in years.  Chris is calm, because he knows that with Pussy out of the picture, he's replacing him, and it's about time.  Sil, Paulie, and Furio are all back, and Carm and Ade have returned to play tennis and meet the new tennis instructor.  That would have been a good storyline.  Meadow's in college and has a roommate with issues.  And AJ'S temporary downfall basically starts as he cuts class.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Carm, Chris, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

Provashi, Liviatarski:

In the Conclusion to the Season Opener, Tony doesn't condone Meadow's new relationship, Livia's wish is granted, Public Enemy gets a shoutout, and Livia's not-so-important other wish is not followed out.  Carm inadvertantly saves the returning Artie's life by coming true with Livia at the Wake.  Janice and Junior return, and no sooner does Tony's nemesis pass on, does he get a new one (Ralphie).

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

Fortunate Son:

Chris is officially a made guy, but it isn't as cut-out as he thought.  He also disobeys Tony.  Janice and Livia guardian continue to have problems, from records to a leg; Tony figures out the result of his panic attacks, AJ steps up and kicks ass in football, and Meadow is mad at her father.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

Employee Of The Month:

After getting raped, Melfi learns that Tony was serious when he said that all the shit occurs on the outside, and that she didn't know anything.  It also helped her not to fall into a trap of Tony getting help from her for free.  Janice pays the price for her fiasco from last week, and Sack (Tony's friend and the underboss from New York) moves into the neighborhood.  Chris is once again told to leave 'the kid' out of the business; Tony promised the kid's father.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Sil, Paulie,  Meadow

Another Toothpick:

Tony has a run-in with a black officer, and it turns out good for Tony, but not for the entire episode.  Bobby Bacala loses his father (who was willing to do the hit anyway), thanks to Tony's decision to avenge the pretty much death of one of his soldier's brother.  Also, Junior has cancer.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

University:

In the first episode in which the title doesn't get said, Ralphie (Joey Pants) becomes uncontrollable, destroys the Bouncer's eye, talks too much about Gladiator, and murders one of Silvio's employees.  It results in Tony breaking a rule that Ralphie would have broken anyway had it not been for Furio and Paulie in the way.  After putting up with her roommate, Meadow pays the price for ignoring Tony's warnings and what not.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

Second Opinion:

Junior's cancer is cured, I believe; Tony has a run in with Pussy's wife about how Pussy ruined her life, not Tony.  Carm has thoughts about her marriage.  Chris gets his balls busted several times.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

He Is Risen:

Ralphie becomes a captain, and Tony telling him to be careful for what he wishes for will be a factor later on. Meadow forms a new relationship that Tony approves, for the time being (and under one condition), and her roommate is feeling better mentally.  Tony meets a car sales lady, and ends up getting a new girl on the side.  It's also Thanksgiving.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

The Telltale Mozadell:

The kid, now Meadow's boyfriend, has to stay out of the life, and that's the bottom line.  That also includes not being in casinos.  AJ destroys the pool at his school, but doesn't do a great job cleaning up stuff that would trace the vandalism to him.  Chris gives Ade her own club.  Tony's girl on the side learns of Tony's business.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

To Save us All From Satan's Power:

We flash back to 1995, and Pussy has a cameo.  They go from Santa Clause to Pussy being wired for sound all the way back in 1995.  However, while he was late for the meeting, he's only been an informant since 1998.  He probably got pinched for selling H in 1995, after being warned to stop.  Also, the kid pays the price for getting a "lap dance" at Silvio's club, thanks to Charmaine.  Bobby's the new Santa Claus, because Tony says so, so he has to shut the fuck up about it.  Also, it's Christmas.  In addition, Janice's Russian gets the shit beat out of him.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

The Pine Barrens:

Paulie and Christopher are stuck in The Pine Barrens, thanks to Silvio and his flu.  They get out though.  The kid gets caught cheating by Meadow, and even her roommate consoles her.  The kid never learns, does he.  Tony's girl on the side learns that she's Tony's girl on the side, and only Tony's girl on the side.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

Armor Fou:

Carmela has issues; Chris informs the kid that who is Tony to tell him how to run his life.  The kid thanks Chris by turning on him (inadvertantly to Chris though).  The kid really never learns, does he.  Ralphie could be having second thoughts about being a capo, and the consequences.  Tony stands up to his girl on the side, and it gets ugly.  He also sees a comparison between her and Livia.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Sil, Meadow

The Army Of One:

The kid pays the price permanently, AJ pays the price, and then pays the price again and passes out.  Meadow knows how the kid died.  She breaks down as much as the kid's mother during the funeral, the burial service, and right after the news broke out.  Meadow runs away, AJ looks like he prepared to become the new AJ, and everyone else, after Paulie left and befriended Sack, enjoyed Junior's singing.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow
For All Debts Private and Public:

The era of the lack of Meadow starts here.  Paulie's in prison, Chris avenges his father's death (that was basically already avenged a long time ago, but the hitman was all that was left to be taken care of).  After Junior getting busted for whatever he said to an FBI agent, Tony informs Melfi that whatever happen in the family that he decides will come out of Chris's mouth.  Carm wants to know about the money that Tony has hiding somewhere.  Ade doesn't know that she's being watched, Janice and Ralphie are together, and Sack, his boss, and company celebrate.  AJ is becoming a better person.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

No Show:

Chris becomes acting capo, Ralphie tells a joke, and Sil's bitter, to a point where Tony knows about his disobedience and why exactly Sil did what he did.  Ade gets busted, and since there will be little of Meadow this season, TPTB decides to put what we would have seen of Meadow (in an entire season) in an entire episode.  In the end, while she knows about how the kid died, he understands that Tony did everything he could to mold that kid to be a better person, and that Carm was in fact right; the kid did "this" to himself.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

Christopher:

Sil is bitter that Indians are ruining Columbus Day.  In the end, Tony tells him to put it behind him.  Paulie is still playing double agent with Sack, and it will get ugly, thanks to a joke that Ralphie told in the previous show.  Also, the era of the lack of the main plot of THE SOPRANOS (a.k.a. Melfi being on the show) starts here.  Junior's trial starts.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ

The Weight:

This is where The Furio/Carm Show starts.  Also, I believe this is around the time that Carm's planning to "destroy" Tony starts.  Sack makes a move on Ralphie, dispite the fact that the idea was turned down twice and he walked out on two sit downs that he demanded.  Sack's boss makes Tony take him out (without actually saying so) to avoid a cut in earnings.  In the end, both parties call the hit off, thanks to a forgetful Sack.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, AJ, Meadow

Pie-O-My:

Tony buys a racehorse, sometime after Sil, Chris, and Furio destroy some guy.  Ade is still being interrogated by the FEDS, and if Chris ever happens to find out, that would suck, because she could go out like Pussy, thanks to someone prying into her own business to get to someone else.  1: She doesn't know anything, and 2: It's not like she sold it.  If she dies, hopefully it won't be about this, because that wouldn't be fair.  Other FBI informants fucked up completely, while some girl intervened in her life, while Ade was minding her own business and didn't give a damn about OC.  Also, Carm's plan isn't working today, because Tony learned something.  He also loves Pie-O-My:

Recurring Stars: Tony, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil

Everybody Hurts:

In the final episode before Paulie returns to the "fold," AJ really shapes up.  He gets this hot girl, but feels like he's nothing, because she even more wealthier than him and his family.  Also, Furio
"returns" while Artie's under some care for his suicidal rage.  Charmaine doesn't really care, and hats off to Artie.  Yeah, he couldn't pay what he owed Tony, but at least he had the smarts to notify Tony before Tony came looking for him.  Also, Tony's tab was wiped out.  In addition, Tony's second girl on the side kills herself.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, AJ, Meadow

Watching Too Much Television:

Paulie returns, and so do other supporting stars.  Paulie and Sack meet in some place to talk business.  Also, Tony invests in some houses in his traditional area near his church.  Chris and Ade set a wedding date, but Ade has been watching too much television.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

Mergers and Acquisitions:

In the first of four consecutive Meadow-less episodes, we're introduced to Tony's girl on the side #3.  She's a prankster, but, despite learning and being pissed off about being just a girl on the side, she hooks up with Tony.  Carm finds out (not who though) and Part 1 of her plan (a big part) is done.  We find out that Ralphie isn't "all that."

Recurring Stars: Tony, Carm, Chris, Sil, Paulie, AJ

Whoever Did This:

Ralphie pranks the wrong person's mother.  He pays the price, twice (the second time permanently).  Paulie wanted revenge, but even he could sense that whenever Tony takes care of business, he usually gives the indication that he doesn't care, which is smart.  Junior fakes an insane personality disorder, and then the plot of the episode occurs when Chris and Tony are cleaning up proof and evidence of Ralphie.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ

The Strong, Silent Type:

Chris goes nuts.  After killing a dog, being late for a delivery to Sil and Paulie, getting beat up by thugs, beating up Adriana, being forced into an Intervention, and getting beat up again by Sil and Paulie, he lands into the hospital, where he's prohibited by Tony from drugs, and then forced to (by Tony) go into rehab.  I don't think that Ade and Chris are getting married in three weeks anymore.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ

Calling All Cars:

Sack and Paulie continue to meet separately, and Paulie doesn't even know that he's getting played.  AJ'S hot girl returns, but that doesn't exclude him from having to spend time with Bobby's kids, who lost their mother in episode three (4-3, #42).  AJ'S tricks won't be the only time the kids fall victim to this.  Janice is into this too, and she also succeeds in making Bobby put his wife behind him.  Tony and Melfi part ways.  Finally, Junior's act didn't work.  So, it's on to Plan B, which should have been Plan A.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ

Eloise:

Meadow returns, and she has a crew, and a new boyfriend.  And, after 50 episodes, she decides to go and have tea under the Eloise.  Furio falls into the category that the priest and the wallpaper guy fell into.  Paulie learns the truth about Sack, and that's no good for some old lady.  Speaking of Sack, he wants his boss out of the picture.  You can't really blame him either; his boss ordered a hit on him earlier on anyway!  Eugene (Thin Guy) warns a juror about the outcomes of things dealing with Junior's trial.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Carm, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow

Whitecaps:

Chris returns, and he's also better than ever.  Tony gets a house on the shore, but that doesn't last too long.  Since Part One of Carm's plan has been taken care of, she was waiting for Tony to mess up again so that she could kick him out of her house.  Fighting and what not occurs, and it gets uglier and uglier.  However, his business is still going strong, because he senses that Sack is playing him (like he played Paulie), so he's not going to take out his boss.  In the end, Sack and Tony are still friends, Chris is focused, and Tony moves out of the house.  Also, Junior, Janice and Bobby celebrate their victory.

Recurring Stars: Tony, Melfi, Carm, Chris, Junior, Sil, Paulie, AJ, Meadow
