THE ENDING OF THE LITTLE PINK HOUSE
A few years after Mom's death, Dad decided to have the Old Pink House tore down. It was a sad day for him. But I think he knew that it needed to be done. It was old, tired and used only for storage. It would have cost a lot to fix up and then what would he have done with it. He sure wouldn't have wanted to rent it out and have strangers under his nose!
During the demolition, we found out that the house would have been beyond repair. It was pretty rotten all around the foundation.
