the beginning
Here is Mark with his son, Stephen. They had to remove the block storage room because the joists of the new floor would not be level with the old part. There was 8" of cement, not counting the two steps into the kitchen.
We missed the start of this project because we where on vacation on Lake Chelan.
There will be siding on the upper portion of the walls. Whitey tells me that the brick and siding will all blend in together. I will have to trust him and his judgment. But of course, he has been doing this longer than I have been. :>)
