On the second level, just above where the deck was attached. You'll see a hole on the face of the building. This was to make sure where the floor joist was. Upon doing this they found out that the house had no interior insulation. Back when this home was built, in the mid 50's, they used that black felt type paper as insulation. We will have someone come out and insulate the house with that foam type that is sprayed into the walls through small holes made on the outside. I wonder how Jack will react when I tell him we have to sell his boat to pay for this....?
