Dandelion Sparks
The most important thing about dandelion sparks is that they're collected right before, or at the very beginning of thunder storm.  Dandelions are a very firey type plant, due to they're bright yellow color.  Also, they are strong willed since they continue to grow despite constantly being weeded out by lawn enthusiasts every where.  I have a great respect for these flowers.

By gathering them right before or right at the begining of a thunder storm, while all that potentiall electrical energy is building up in the air, they are infused with the most destructive and firey part of a storm, the lightning.  So I like to think of them as being little sparks of lightning.

When you have a spell that you'd like to add a little extra power too, these little dried flowers pack quite a powerful wallup.  To make them, you first collect the flowers right before or durring the very beginings of a very powerful elecrical storm.  This can be dangerous, so please use caution.  This isn't worth hurting yourself over.  If you are still a minor, make sure your gaurdian is okay with you doing this before you attempt it.

When ever I pick a plant or take a rock from the ground, I like to silently thank the spirit of the pant or rock and bow my head in respect for their sacrifice to me.  I'd highly recomend coming up with some personal routine to thank nature for what ever you take from it.  Just do what ever feels right to you.

The next thing you need to do is to hange them upside down to dry, just like you would any flower you want to keep, and then you save the heads in a jar or somthing until you're ready for them.

When it comes time to use them in a spell or rite, I like to burn them in some kind of fire proof container, releasing the electrical energy stored in the flower from the storm into my spell working.

And that's how my Dandelion Sparks work.
