Recomended Book List
The Elements of Ritual by Deborah Lipp:
I would say this is an advanced book, even though it might look fairly simple if you just read the back.  It goes very deeply into exactly how to cast a circle, looking at every single part.  In all the other magik books I've gotten over the years, they'll give you the words they say or the actions they do, but they don't tell you why they do these things.  Since getting this book and using it's teachings, my circles have felt so much more real and powerful.  I don't know how I managed to do any magik before getting this book.

The Second Cicle Tools for the Advancing Pagan by Venecia Rauls:
This book was the first one to turn me onto the idea that in order to advance, I must seek books out side of the new age section.  It talks about picking a speciality (personally I think I'm inclined towards weather magik, healing, and the warrior's path: which I know is a very odd combination.  But I'm more about the protective aspect of the warrior.) and researching it.  Like say you want to be a healer, you could get some books on human biology, or take nursing classes or something.   Before this book, I was getting increasingly irritated by the lack of advanced pagan books.  It seemed like every book I bought was just parroting all the information I already knew.  Thanks to this book, I finally feel like I'm advancing in the craft after years of beeing stuck at the beginners level.
