St. LCW Volume 14: 1st Taping Results

The first taping of Volume 14 kicked off with the returning Moriarty going one-on-one with the devil woman herself, Angel. The match started out with an array of wrestling maneavours including waist locks, arm ringers and top wrist locks which was ended by an headscissors from the jezebel who then followed it up with a DDT and a pin which Moriarty kicked out of. Angel then utilised a snap arm bar, which was followed up by some arm work on the good-guy including knee drops to the joint and a stunner to the tricep, this battering of the arm was followed by another pin that Mori again kicked out of.
The lady from hell then went to whip Moriaty off the ropes but Mori looked like he got a break when he managed to reverse the whip and went for a back body drop but Angel managed to counter it with a sunset flip for a 2 count. However, Miss Rebecca�s other half did manage to get some offence in of his own which consisted of punches that knocked Angel to the floor and a slam. Satan�s bitch then tricked Moriarty by pretending to beg off, only to give Bill a sneaky low blow.
Angel then quickened the pace of the match with a rude awakening, a high cross body (which resulted in a near fall) and her patented float over spinning DDT, that she calls the whirlwind from hell, the veteran however did manage to kick out of Angel�s subsequent cover. Angel then went for a suplex, which Mori managed to counter into a snap suplex of his own. Nonetheless, the slut in black managed to escape to the outside where she executed a textbook running highcross body off the top, but Mori managed to roll through the highcross body and pin Angel for the three count, much to the fans delight. Angel then had a temper tantrum as she slapped the mats and then stormed off into the back.
The night was not over for nice-guy Moriarty however, as New Breed Hayden Williams� music hit, and the dwarf porn fan made his way to the ring. The blonde then began by congratulating Moriarty on his return to wrestling from his finger injury. This was not like the usually nasty and sarcastic dwarf porn fan. Nevertheless, Hayden wasn�t nice for long, he then proceeded to tell Mori that he should have stayed in the hospital because he is �all washed up�. The only remaining New Breed member then tried to scare Moriarty by telling the experienced wrestler that he was going to end his career. Hayden Williams then went to punch Moriarty. However, Mori managed to block the punch and nail the dwarf with a big right hand, leaving Hayden knocked out on the floor. Thus, Moriarty showed the spiked blonde that he is not all washed up, which was also evident from his victory over the young and upcoming Angel.
But what now for Hayden Williams, he came out to the ring to show that he was a rising star ready to take the spot of Moriarty. But, after being felled by Moriarty, Hayden Williams will now have to re-evaluate the situation. Hayden will have to either question his initial beliefs or attempt to save face by gaining a measure of revenge over Moriarty. As for the veteran himself, he will feel like he has nothing to prove to Williams, Moriary will feel that his past accomplishments (Tag team champion and two-time World champion) speak for themselves.
Hence, with one man out to shoot up the ranks and the other out to keep hold of his spot, an interesting time could lay ahead for New breed and William. But, when all is said and done, will it be Hayden or Moriarty that is vindicated? Only time will tell. Next up, was a tag team match between the Intercontinental champion Iron man and Grell against the European champion Se7en and Father Johnson. The action began with Se7en taking charge of Grell by leapfrogging over him, getting a near fall from a school boy roll and then finally grounding Grell with a side head lock take down. Se7en then scored another two-count after delivering a short senton drop to Grell. The monster would not be dominated for much longer however as he mounted some offence of own by nailing Se7en with a big boot, a body slam and a leg drop, this succession of manoeuvres resulted in Grell scoring a near fall.
After then scoring another two-count from a back slide, Grell�s offence was cut short by a DDT from Se7en. Then, a double tag was made and Iron man entered the ring with all guns blazing. Nevertheless, Iron man�s offence was short lived as Father Johnson nailed him with a discus clothesline. Thinking he was now well in control, Father went to the top, only to be sent crashing back to earth thanks to Mofo throwing him from his perch. Johnson however was soon back up and, as a direct result of his quick recovery, a double clothesline ensued between Johnson and Iron man.
Father then scurried to his corner and tagged Se7en. Once in the ring, Se7en slapped a sleeper onto Iron man and, although Iron man was able to break free of the hold, he instantly experienced the impact of a step insigury and a front drop kick from Se7en. The ex-kidnapper then made his way to the top and came flying off, only to be caught around the neck by the massive paw of Iron man. Nonetheless, before Iron man could deliver a choke slam, Johnson nailed him from behind. Iron man would not give up though and, soon after this illegal incident, he managed to catch Se7en with a lariat.
Iron man then tagged Grell but, because the referee was dealing with the theatrics of Father, the tag went unnoticed by the official and was therefore deemed illegal. Iron man would not be denied however, as he went on to execute a double manoeuvre on his adversary�s, this move led to Se7en being DDTed and Father being nailed with a downward spiral. Shaun then made the much-needed tag and his partner entered the ring like a house of fire. Grell proceeded to nail Johnson with a slam and then, after briefly battling on the outside, Grell and Father returned to the squared circle. Here, Grell got a near fall on Johnson after nailing him with an exploder suplex.
The barrage of offence from Grell then continued as he delivered his finishing manoeuvre, the Sweet dreams, to Johnson. Grell then wiped out Se7en with a spear before attempting a cover on the still fallen Father. Se7en broke up Grell�s pin fall attempt before the count of three however. Furthermore, not only did Se7en brake up the count but he also went on to deliver his trademark move, the Centre of attention, to Grell. Somehow, Grell then desperately made it back to his corner where he tagged the now revitalised Iron man.
