St. LCW Volume 13: 3rd Taping Results

Reported by Jim Boz

The third taping of Volume thirteen was scheduled to kick off with a match between Mimmickmaster and Cardinal Yeomans. But, having been the first to make his way to the ring, Mimmickmaster decided to fill us in on the Mr. Ass situation before Cardinal Yeomans made his way out. Having not heard from Sam Van Dam in a week, Mimmick was taken aback as the entrance music of Sam Van Dam abruptly kicked in. On this note, Sam made his way to the ring and informed Mimmickmaster that he had only just got back in the country, thus, had not had time to contact MMM. However, Van Dam went on to say that the reason he was now back from Japan was because he had fulfilled his mission. S.V.D had got Mr. Ass to sign THE contract, this meant, according to Sam, that Mimmickmaster would get a match with the man who had betrayed him. Furthermore, Van Dam went on to inform us that his friend would not have to wait long to get his hands on Mr. Ass, as their match will take place at the next pay-per-view, Outrage. A delighted Mimmickmaster then signed the contract himself and thanked his young helper. Sam then made his exit, leaving Mimmick to await his opponent for the night, the Cardinal.

As expected, the match began with Mimmickmaster in firm control. MMM kept on top of Yeomans by utilising such manoeuvres as a waist-lock take down, an atomic drop and a standing drop kick. After suffering these moves, the Cardinal bailed out. Upon regaining his composure, Cardinal went back into the ring and even managed to assume brief control by taking Mimmickmaster down with a side headlock. Still, Merk Clerk was soon back up and swinging a clothesline in the direction of Yeomans head.  However, Yeomans was able to duck this intended blow and, after doing so, Cardinal bailed out yet again. But, on this occasion, Yeomans plan backfired as Mimmickmaster grabbed him and threw him back into the ring. Then, after smashing Cardinals head off a table, Mark inadvertently knocked the referee out as he collided with the official while dashing towards a prone Cardinal. While Mimmickmaster was then attempting to help the fallen ref, Yeomans introduced a steel tray to proceedings.

Nonetheless, the prey boy did not get chance to use the foreign object as his opponent caught him with a kick to the gut, thus causing Cardinal to drop the weapon. Yeomans however did force his way into the ascendancy by nailing Mimmickmaster with a big back body drop and a monkey flip. At this point, Yeomans himself tried to revive the stricken ref. This gave twinnie the opening he needed to deliver a Russian leg sweep to the preoccupied Cardinal and thereby set him up for a frog splash. However, things did not go according to plan for Mimmickmaster; as he came flying from the top, Yeomans managed to raise his knees and thus severely injure the already brittle ribs of Clarkey. With the referee still down, Cardinal then proceeded to illegally choke Mimmickmaster, in addition, Cardinal then stuffed the aforementioned tray up his mustard coloured shirt and went to the top with the plan of splashing his adversary with a loaded stomach.

But, when Yeomans came jumping from the top, Mimmick was able to move and thus avoid what could have been disastrous contact. With Cardinal now being the man in trouble, Mimmick himself went to the top and this time he did connect with a senton bomb. The ref then slowly crawled over and, much to MMMs surprise, only got a two count. A disbelieving Mimmick then began to question the referee about his count, thus allowing Yeomans to sneak up from behind MMM and nail him with a low blow. Cardinal then immediately school boy rolled Mimmick into a pinning combination, the result of which was a three count and a shock victory for Yeomans.

Following on from this, was an interview with the commissioner, Winnie Nobbe. The first announcement that Winnie Nobbe made concerned his belief that Thanatos would be the next World champion. Winnie stated that he wanted to give the future champ (Thanatos) an easy first title defence, hence, he had hand picked two wrestlers to compete in a number one contendership match for the World title at the upcoming pay-per-view, Outrage. The participants, in that number one contendership match would be Jurgen Frobe and Deacon Sypher. Winnie went on to say that the reason he had chosen Jurgen Frobe and Deacon Sypher to compete in this match was because he knew that the future champ would have an easy first title defence against either of them. After proclaiming himself as a genius for coming up with this idea, Winnie then began to put the bad mouth on Miss Rebecca. Nobbe, it seemed, had two grievances with Miss Rebecca, they were: a) her making an unscheduled appearance on his show two weeks ago and b) her refusing to pay a fine which he had issued her.

After expressing disgust at Miss Rebeccas lack of respect for him, Nobbe called out the first lady of wrestling. Upon Miss Rebeccas subsequent entrance, Winnie told her that she would be suitably punished her for her actions. The punishment being that Miss R had to wrestle Nobbe in a match at Outrage. Undaunted by this prospect, Miss Rebecca challenged Winnie to put his commissionership on the line in the match. Not wanting to appear scared, Winnie accepted Rebeccas challenge and said that their match at Outrage would indeed be for the commissionership. After announcing this, Nobbe attempted to attack Miss Rebecca but his plan backfired as Bec ducked his swing and delivered a low blow. Miss Rebecca then illustrated her dominance over Winston by nailing him with a tornado DDT. Satisfied that her point was made, Rebecca left the auditorium and was followed soon after by a flustered Winnie.

However, as soon as Nobbe left, Se7en made a surprise appearance and what he had to say was very shocking. Se7en claimed that because things had been going wrong for him lately he had lost heart in the business and therefore had decided to quit. Upon hearing this surprise announcement, Iron man came out in a bid to change Se7ens mind. Iron man was partially successful as he talked Se7en into one last match. In addition, Iron man agreed to put one of his belts on the line and it was eventually decided that the title that would be up for grabs would be the European championship.

With the match now decided upon the competitors shook hands and Iron man gave his belts to the referee. But, while the official was transporting the titles, Se7en showed his true colours by attacking Iron man from behind with a steel chair. Hence, when the ref returned to the ring, Mofo was already at a disadvantage and thus unable to prevent Se7en from nailing him with the S.K.O. Se7en then continued his assault on Iron man by inflicting punches and a clothesline on him. Se7en then went to the top but when he came flying off Iron man caught him in a vice like grip around the neck. However, before Iron man had the chance to deliver a chokeslam, Se7en hit him with a low blow and then a front dropkick. With Mofo well and truly dazed, Se7en delivered his finishing manoeuvre, the centre of attention. Se7en then went for the pin and got a three count thus becoming the new European champion. After the match, Se7en informed us that the things that had been going wrong for him were in fact planed occurrences, made to trick us into believing his quit threat. Hence, we came to realise that Se7en had coned his way to the Euro title but at least we could cling to the satisfaction that although Iron man had lost one of his belts, he was still the reigning Intercontinental champion.
