St. LCW Volume 13: 2nd Taping Results

Reported by Jim Boz

The second taping of Volume Thirteen started with a tag team match between the Mimmickmaster and Jurgen Frobe against Se7en and the Deacon Sypher, who was accompanied by his fellow C.R.A.P member, Cardinal Yeomans. Because the good guys entered first, Mimmickmaster took the opportunity to inform us that Sam Van Dams trip to Japan on his behalf was going very well. In fact, Mimmick even read aloud a postcard that he received from Sam Van Dam. From what Mimmickmaster read, we could deduce that Sam had not only located Mr. Ass but also that he was on the verge of getting Mr. Ass to sign for a future match against MMM. After filling us in on this news, Mimmickmaster had to get his mind back on the task at hand, as the bad guys were out and ready to go. The action began with Se7en taking control of Mimmickmasters arm and then handing MMM over to Deacon Sypher.

Deacon continued the punishment by nailing Mimmick with an elbow drop and a scoop slam, this resulted in a near fall. The woes of Mimmickmaster were not over though, as he went on to suffer a forearm from the top and a front dropkick both from Se7en. Merk desperately needed a tag, and after getting in an armdrag, he got one. Jurgen Frobe then made an impact by getting a two count on Se7en after he had knocked him down with a clothesline.  However, Jurgen was then thrown outside and almost wiped out as Se7en attempted to land a plancha on him. But, Frobe was able to move just in time, thus leaving Se7en to go flying into the public. Nevertheless, while Frobe was waiting for his opponent to get back into the ring, he was double-teamed by the C.R.A.P members. Hence, when Se7en returned to the squared circle, he was free to inflict an atomic drop onto Jurgen.

Nonetheless, when Sypher was tagged back in, he allowed Frobe to get in not one, but two high impact DDTs on him, whats more, Jurgen then went on to deliver a leg drop from the top on the beleaguered one. Both competitors then made tags to their respective partners, and, upon entering the ring, it was Se7en who assumed the advantage by nailing Mimmickmaster with his trademark S.K.O and then a flipping senton from the outside. MMM was not done however; he set about a comeback by getting in a clothesline and then attempting a hurracarana. Se7en however, was able push Mimmickmaster straight over his head but, upon landing, MMM charged over to the corner and laid out the Deacon. Mimmickmaster then proceeded to get clotheslined by the interfering manager, Cardinal Yeomans. Once again, Mimmick  needed a tag and, thanks to a drop kick he nailed on Se7en, a tag he got. Jurgen then took matters into his own hands by suplexing Se7en and scoring a near fall, both men soon found themselves on the mat after this, as a big collision in the form of a double clothesline occurred.

Both men then crawled over to their corners to tag out. Mimmickmaster entered like a house on fire, nailing Sypher with a back breaker and then Se7en with a Russian leg sweep. Knowing things werent going the way of his team, Cardinal again interfered  by holding Mimmick in preparation for a shot from Sypher. However, as Sypher ran towards him, Mimmick escaped the clutches of Yeomans, thus causing Deacon to punch his manager. With Cardinal down, Mimmick sent Sypher into the chairs and left him laying next to his spiritual advisor. Back in the ring, Jurgen was in the process of knocking Se7en out with the unprettier, this left Mimmick to come crashing from the top with a senton bomb onto the prone body of his opponent. Se7en could endure no more, and with C.R.A.P unable to break the count, Mimmick scored the pin fall and, in the process, a victory for himself and Frobe.
Next up, was a one on one match between the former manager and now wrestler, Angel, against Father Johnson who, like Deacon Sypher, was accompanied by his fellow C.R.A.P member, Cardinal Yeomans. The match began with the more experienced wrestler, Father Johnson, firmly in control. After locking up, the Father gave Angel a quick wrestling lesson by clamping in a series of holds, such as an armbar, a hammerlock and a headlock. Johnson then stepped his offence up a gear by making Angel endure a sleeper hold, the Christian then attempted to finish it quickly by smashing Angels head off a table but, much to his anger, this only resulted in a near fall for Father. Undeterred, Johnson continued with his barrage of offence, nailing Angel with a body slam, a stiff looking DDT and a clothesline. If Angel was going to survive her first on-camera match as a singles competitor then she would have to get in some offence of her own, and that is exactly what she did. After getting in a desperation chin buster, Angel scored a two count and then stayed on top of Johnson using closed fists and a DDT. With Father down from this manoeuvre, Angel went to the top but, once there, Cardinal Yeomans grabbed her leg to prevent her from leaping off onto his protg.

Angel then took her attention off Johnson and instead began to strike Cardinal, this left Angel open to attack. Father seized this opportunity by getting back to his feet and throwing Angel off the top, this led to a near fall. Father then went on to suplex Angel but, while going for a second suplex, Angel was able to block the intended manoeuvre and deliver a suplex of her own. This signalled the beginning of some serious offence for Angel. First, she nailed Johnson with a flatliner (which resulted in a two count), and then she gave him a taste of his own medicine by crashing his skull off a table.

Angel was not finished with Father however, as she then went on to make him endure a clothesline, a kick to the shoulder which sent him to the floor and then finally a rolling knee drop from the top. The match would soon even itself back out however, as a double clothesline knocked both competitors to the floor. Once both up, Father attempted another clothesline but, because Angel was able to duck, Johnson inadvertently hit the referee. With the official now out, Yeomans was able to interfere in the match by putting a nerve hold on the outnumbered female while she was attempting to perform her finishing move, the Halo neck breaker.

This hold left Angel powerless to resisted the Daddys trademark manoeuvre, the Holy Grail. But, because the ref was still unconscious, there was no one to count three for the Father. Realising this, Cardinal told Johnson to do the Holy Grail again so that when ref Dan did awake, Angel would still be down. However, before J Diddy could perform the move again, Boden made his way to ringside and nailed Father with a clothesline. Then, after throwing Cardinal to the outside, Boden laid Johnson out with a tightly synched in DDT.

Boden then pulled Angel on top of Dad, the referee then crawled over to count three and declare Angel the winner. As C.R.A.P then left defeated for the second time of the night, Angel celebrated her big victory by jumping into the arms of Boden. After the two indulged in a hug, they stared into each others eyes and did not kiss; Boden pulled Angel away from him and instead offered to shake her hand. Angel however, did not shake Bodes hand, rather she clasped hold of it and led him to the back. Leaving us to wonder, what exactly is the relationship between Boden and Angel?
