| St. LCW Volume 13: 1st Taping Results Reported by Jim Boz Volume Thirteen was scheduled to start with a tag match, but instead began with a surprise appearance from Miss Rebecca. Bec stated that although she was not booked for the show tonight, and that she would probably get in trouble for crashing the party, she was nevertheless determined to address her public. The news Miss Rebecca had for us however was not good; she informed us that due to injuries picked up over recent weeks, Moriarty would not be around for awhile. With this news ringing in the ears of the St Lukes faithful, Miss R departed. With the ring vacant, the aforementioned tag team encounter was free to begin. First out was the team of the European champion, Iron man and the newly popular Jurgen Frobe. Next, came the combination of Intercontinental champion, Jason Sensation and Deacon Sypher with his fellow C.R.A.P members, Arch bishop Hodgetts and Cardinal Yeomans. The match began with Iron man and Jason Sensation, and it wasnt long before the Mofo showed his strength by flinging Jason across the ring. Jason then thought he had overcome his difficulties by getting Iron man in a hammerlock and tripping him over, Sensation however, was mistaken. A clothesline by Mofo took Jason down and enabled Iron man to make the tag. Jurgen entered and nailed Jason with a clothesline of his own, leading to a near fall. Sensation however, asserted his own authority on the match by landing shots on Frobe and wiping him out with a spinning heel kick. Jason then made an error, throwing Frobe outside, here Jay was subject to a double team by the Iron giant and Jurgen. Thus, when the action returned to the ring, Frobe was in control. Frobe subsequently delivered a leg drop before tagging Iron man back in, but, while making this tag, Jason was left to scurry to his corner and introduce Deacon Sypher to the match. The Deacon however, had no more success than his partner did; felling the wrath of his opposition with a big toe from Mofo, a double team assault and finally a slam by Mofo that led to a near fall. Syphers misery continued as a take down from Mofo led to Jurgen landing an elbow drop from the top. Sypher however, got himself out of trouble; escaping Frobes full nelson and then executing a clothesline, a slam and an elbow drop all of his own. Deacon then tagged in Sensation who, after landing a DDT and getting a near fall on Frobe, once again found himself in difficulty as Jurgen tagged in a fresh Iron man. Mofo entered the ring by nailing Jason with a boot and then destroying him with an innovative chokeslam back breaker. Both men then nailed each other with a double clothesline, which led to each wrestler making a tag. Frobe stormed into the ring and levelled Sypher with a clothesline, he then followed this by assaulting Jason. But Sypher soon clamped in a chokehold, and was then able to plant Frobes head off a table and also suplex him. After kicking out of Syphers pin, Frobe delivered a low blow and tagged Iron man. Iron man was met in the ring by Jason, who had simultaneously been tagged by Sypher. Jason poked Iron man in the eye and then worked on his leg, this leg work led to a figure four. After that leg lock was broken up by Frobe, Iron man got on the offensive, hitting Jason with a back breaker, some punches and a lariat. These manoeuvres led to a two count, Jason then got in a desperation low blow and tagged Sypher. After some kicks, Sypher then scored a near fall of his own before Iron man tagged Frobe. Frobe kept Sypher down with a face plant and a double arm DDT, and after a near fall he tagged Iron man back in. Iron man then finished off Sypher with a chokeslam, scoring the victory for himself and Frobe. After the match, Frobe nailed Sypher with an unprettier just for good measure, furthermore, Deacon was also pedibombed by his disgruntled partner. The nights second contest was a fatal four-way match between Mimmickmaster, Se7en, Hayden Williams and Sinner. Upon entering the ring, Mimmickmaster said a few words before his opponents came out. Mimmick said he had not forgotten what transpired at Tides of change and thus wanted revenge on the man who had stabbed him in the back, Mr Ass. On this note, the music of Sam Van Dam hit and out came the youngster himself. Sam Van Dam began by thanking Mimmickmaster for helping him with his troubles with Winnie Nobbe throughout Volume Twelve. S.V.D then claimed that he wanted to repay MMM by granting him his wish of getting his hands on Mr.Ass. In order to do this, Sam said that hell go to the place where Ass does his work, Japan, and make him sign a contract to set up a future match between himself and Mimmickmaster. Mimmick then thanked Van Dam and the little guy left, presumably to pack his suitcase. There was no time however for Mimmickmaster to fantasise about a clash with Mr Ass because as soon as Sam departed, Mimmicks opponents made their way to the ring. All three men entered in the usual fashion (apart from Se7en, his entrance was marred by technical difficulties at the music station). The match nevertheless finally began, and started out with a brawl between the quartet of wrestlers. When the smoke eventually cleared, we were left with only Mimmickmaster and Hayden Williams in the ring. After some neat chain wrestling, it was Mimmick who almost scored an early victory with a roll up. Following on from this, the action between Mimmickmaster and Hayden spilled to the outside, thus, the battle between Se7en and Sinner came into the ring. Although Sinner quickly got Se7en into a headlock, it didnt take long for Se7en to escape and deliver not only a modified hip toss, but also an arm ringer into a DDT. At this point, Hayden made his way back into the ring and nailed Se7en with a reverse elbow. Nonetheless, Se7en soon turned the tide back in his favour by flattening Williams with his trademark Centre of attention. But, before Se7en could capitalise on this, Mimmickmaster was back in the ring and right in his face. Se7en attempted to deal with Mimmick by hitting him with the S.K.O, MMM saw it coming however and was thus able to avoid it. But, after scoring a near fall with a pinning combination of his own, Mimmickmaster was eventually laid out by Se7ens front drop kick. Se7en followed this by nailing Merk with both a double axe handle from the top and also a standing Senton drop. Mimmickmaster then showed his resilience by blocking a punch from Se7en and landing some right hands of his own. As Mimmick then threw Se7en to the outside, Sinner was simultaneously thrown in. Mimmickmaster then proceeded to atomic drop Sinner, but Sinny soon got in some offence of his own in the form of a neck breaker. Finally, both MMM and Hayden attained the advantage over of their respective opponents, hence, with Se7en and Sinner down, Mimmickmaster and Hayden went to the top and delivered splashs in stereo. Both Mimmick and Hayden then got to their feet and laid each other out with a double clothesline. After a long count by the referee, all four wrestlers got up and another four way brawl ensued, the end result of which was Se7en being thrown to the outside and then Mimmick being thrown at him. This left only Hayden and Sinner in the ring, and it was Williams who assumed the advantage by delivering a DDT, a poke to the eyes and a low blow to Sinner. Next |
