Reported by Dave Daniels

Tonights final match up was set to be a World Title match between World Champion Moriarty and number one contender Randy Richter. However, as Winnie Nobbe had seen fit to sack the kung fu star earlier in the evening a replacement was needed, and Winnie was not short of one. The man who had given commissioner Nobbe the biggest financial incentive would be the man to take his place, and that was Dave Daniels.

The defending champion came out first with first lady of wrestling and part time girl friend Miss Rebecca. Next out was DD and the match kicked off.

It started with Daniels and Bill exchanging mat wrestling techniques ending in a mahistrol cradle by the challenger and an early near fall. The pair stood face to face before locking up a second time, this time however it was Moriarty who came out on top with an arm bar take down. However, DD is renowned for not playing fair and gained his feet once more by utilising a handful of hair.

On backing the Champ to the ropes Daniels utilised a St.LCW favourite the Irish Whip.

An old school criss-cross ensued ending with Moriarty going for a sleep and a double leg drop to the back from DD. This was quickly turned into a side head lock which the Champ countered and a second Irish Whip was bought into play. Moriarty then did back to back leap frogs over the running challenger, after the second Daniels waited behind William and when he turned round went for a cheap poke to the eye type attack. Moriartys Eye poke radar or EPR was working over time and an almost unbelievable blocking manoeuvre was employed, he followed this up with a poke of his own to only one of DDs eyes.

A rapid series of attacks followed from the champ including two winding arm drags, before he then launched Daniels over the tables. Clambering to his feet as Bill followed him to the outside DD slammed the table into the bandaged fingers of Bill. Daniels took advantage of the obvious pain he was in and went on the offensive landing moves such as a gut buster and axe kick. Victory looked in sight for the challenger and a touch of complacency may have sneaked in to his game plan, it may have been his one pound bet, but on going for a slam Moriarty slipped off the back and landed his finisher the edge crusher and sealing victory.

On this Hornblowers music hit and out he came with the sultry Natasha Rider. Rider was angry with the fact that Miss Rebecca had been avoiding the fact that John deserves a title shot and now that Richter had lost his chance the former P.I was next in line. Miss Rebecca was not in the mood and told Rider that she would deal with it when she had time. This angered the new comer who laid a hand on the first lady of wrestling to stop her leaving. That was one straw too many and a fight broke out between the two.

This left a bemused Moriarty and a bamboozled Hornblower to separate the pair and leave with their respective partners in toe.
