| Blister No.... This column does not concern those vicious lumps of skin which you receive whenever a new pair of shoes are purchased. This column concerns the rise and fall of two former St. LCW wrestlers - Blitz and Twister. Like so many former employees, for example "Dirty Beats" Dean Bradley and Sovereign, potential was easily recognised. However, unlike the aforementioned, these two men seemed different. These two men seemed like they wanted to contribute to the product, but this dramatically changed. I will start with Blitz. Richard Fletcher not only portrayed the feared masked man, but also loveable trainee practition Rodney. He seemed to enjoy these roles, and went from being Sovereign's comedic sidekick - comedic as everybody laughed at him as nobody could take him seriously - to being a legitimate Cruiserweight Champion, and vital member of Hayden Williams' "New Breed." He gradually climbed the roster, and was destined for success. But suddenly, he stopped coming. Not gradually, not unreliably - he just didn't want to come anymore. Why? Nobody knows - other than him. Now on to Twister. Twister was signed to a contract before Blitz, and in his first few months in the ring, he proved himself worthy and earned started to earn respect. Fans recognised his theme music (Slipknot - Only One) which I feel is vital. He wreaked havoc with his devastating 'Atom Bomb' and Frog Splash finishing manaoevers, and was most successful during Volume 9, where he teamed with now Commissioner and former World Champion, An-ton-i Boden against the team of Dave Daniels and Mai Hem. Twister teame with Boden on numerous occassions, and played a key role in retiring Mai Hem from the squared circle as a special stipulation during a tag match. But Twister was unreliable. When he said he would turn up, he didn't. When he was there, he put in 110%, but eventually he just had enough, and joined Blitz and Rodney shortly after. These two men, along with D.K. Omen and perhaps Bubba could have gone much furthur with their careers at St. LCW, but opted against it. It just wasn't for them. My question is who is next? Randy Richter was rumoured, but he has had a dramatic change of heart according to Commissioner Boden, who granted "Iron" Mike Wiseman a match against him at the upcoming PPV. Will it be Sinner or Father Johnson? Perhaps one of the 'top guys' reconsider their future... just like Jack Manson. With that, I'll leave you to decide who isn't cut out for this business, and who you feel is perhaps next to join guys such as Blitz and Twister on the former employee list. Regards...
