The Boz Report

Yeah! Shut the f*%k up!

First we saw him as the twinny taker. Then as the loveable babyface luchador. Now he's one of St. LCW's top heels with three World title victories to his name. Thus, considering his humble origins (loosing to Carl Hodgkins on a regular basis) Thanatos' rise to St. LCW stardom is surely one of the greatest accomplishments in wrestling history. Unfortunately, I know a lot of St. LCW employees didn't see the early work of Thanatos, but let me assure you, 'the fans' didn't like him (genuinely). The guy just wasn't 'over.'

But, strangely, if Thanatos wasn't wrestling (cause he was doing his papers) we missed him. Then we began to realise why... Thanatos was better than at least half of the guys on the Volume One roster. Around the time that more St. LCW workers (namely Hodgkins, Bradda and Ickey) were becoming familiar with all the terms associated with proffessional wrestling, Thanatos became more appreciated as a performer. We all learned to appreciate Thanatos' work ethic, bumps, blood, sweat and tears. And, as Volume Two drew to a close, Thanatos' in ring work was beginning to be appreciated on more purely a comedic level.

Then, in the midst of Volume Three, came wrestling school. And, as Thanatos became a regular pupil at the Birmingham based sweat hole, his in ring character at St. LCW came to epitomise hard work and dogged determination. And, from Volume Four up to the present day, not many people in St. LCW can claim to have performed at the same level as Thanatos on a regular basis. Now, it's hard to pick faults with Thanatos at all; he always gives it his all in the ring and has also improved his stick work (lest we forget he also has Winnie Nobbe to 'help' him in that department).

Thanatos can now feesably beat anyone in St. LCW, and no longer has to stand for 'genuine' insults from 'smart' fans. Thanatos is one of the founding fathers of this company and if anyone should be 'smart' enough to challenge his ability or position in the St. LCW hierarcgy, he has found the perfect answer for them - "shut the f*%k up!" Thanatos is St. LCW's most decorated World Champion of all time and his days on top are by no means numbered. In this business we must all remember what we have saw, we must never forget those who have entertained us most or those who have been the most loyal and hard working.

Thus, as long as we don't suffer from a sudden lapse of memory, Thanatos will always be a true St. LCW legend. Surely the fact that Thanatos has given many of the St. LCW roster their best match, is, in itself, worth our admiration and respect. Personally, I like to think that the BOOs that Thanatos receives now are unlike the BOOs that he used to receive, the BOOs he receives now are (as they should be) tinged with respect. Nevertheless, Thanatos continues to perform at a high level even though he has already won the things that were once a million miles away from him - titles and admiration. This is the sign of a true champion, a true icon.
