This is exactly what the trails looked like, and it IS even steeper than it looks. Not only that, in the shade, there was still ice on the paths. As well, there were no handrails to hold on to, and if the mule rides came along, hikers had to move aside - on a 3 foot wide trail. What an ADVENTURE - holding onto 2 small girls and having Laura in a back carrier. |

After listening to me being too nervous to walk any more down the canyon, we took a plane to fly over this magnificent canyon. |

Much more relaxing was visiting Sedona, with their red rocks and quaint art galleries. |
