| How they met... Patrick was attending SDSU to complete his Dietetic Internship & Christina was working there (had already graduated with her BA in Public Administration.) They had mutual friends, but never really were introduced to each other. When Christina finally mustered up enough courage to talk to Patrick or find out more about him, he had already moved back to Hawaii. A few months past and Christina decided to turn to the Yahoo personals. A couple weeks later she got an "interest" email from this guy. In the email he told her a bit about himself & she thought "Wow, this guy is amazing!" So she replied to him. During their emails back & forth, they came to realize that they had mutual friends. They didn't know or talk to each other then, but were happy to have a second chance to get to know more about each other. Emails turned to phone calls and text messages. Later they planned to see each other again. Patrick planned a visit to California February 2005. The trip was a success, but they were both sad to have to let each other go. So as soon as Patrick got back to Hawaii, he began looking for jobs out in San Diego in his career field. From there things began to fall into place, and they knew it was meant to be! :o) |
