Velvet Wall

My favorite of my early work. The rhyme scheme is extremely traditional, but I was able to convey exactly what I wanted to say. The whole "velvet wall" image was a vague reference to the song "Sugar Walls", written by Prince, which refers to... well, if you don't know, I'm not going to tell you. I can still re-read this one and be proud.
