The Pendulum

I was a founding member of the Pitt Pendulums, an a cappella group consisting mainly of friends from the Heinz Chapel Choir who wanted to sing something written within our lifetimes. I ended up quitting both groups in the middle of my third year of college, for reasons that need not be discussed here. They were pretty much my social circle, though, and I missed them. I also tried to give the lines a rhythmic sort of feel, as if to simulate a pendulum swinging. This met with, generously, mixed success.
