Synopsis
:
(spoilers!) |
During
one of their battles with Dr Robotnik, Sonic the Hedgehog
and company are transported (via Chaos Control) to this world.
Meeting
up with a kid named Chris Thornberry and his family and friends,
Sonic, Tails and all the rest work to collect the emeralds
before Eggman and his henchmen can get their hands on them.
After
about 26 or so episodes of original storyline, the series
comes to explain the stories of the SEGA Dreamcast games,
Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, in a new light, incorporating them
into the show's story. |

| Overview: |
I
consider Sonic X to be the most truely developed show based
off the SegaSonic series (that is NOT Archie, for all you
comic buffs).
The
characters are well drawn, the storyline is interesting and
yet simple enough to allow the writers to stray away from
its center and allow Sonic and Crew to take part in interesting
activities, such as baseball.
The
addition of Chris has almost a Digimon feel (Chris being the
human while Sonic protects him), but the outlandish acts of
his Uncle and servants make it bearable.
On
a whole, Sonic X is a well crafted installment into the Sonic
series, holding true with most of the boundaries Sonic Team
has created throughout their games.
