Newspaper Ads

The following are ads designed for the Newnan Times-Herald. Note that newspaper ads are usually measured in "columns by inches"; I've listed them in approximate inches by inches for your sake.

Morgan Jewelers
6" x 8"
Some of the jewelry so artfully arranged in this ad is not in its original photo-shoot location. Can you tell which?
The Butcher Shoppe
5" x 8"
Color Ad Insert w/ Coupon
Top-quality meat deserves a top-quality ad.
Farrington Ridge
10" x 12"
The original background artwork could not be provided by the sign company that produced the sign for the subdivision's entry, so I recreated it—at home.
Don Jackson Lincoln-Mercury
6" x 22"
This one went right into the paper's "Submit for GA Press Association Awards" folder.
Fayette Ceramic Tile
6" x 5"
Originally the "test ad"
prior to my part-time employment. It was used several times after this. The "Spring Sale" callout is tactfully covering a pile of debris.
Indulgence
4" x 5"
Continuing the cutting-edge design that the Indulgence owners favor. The reverse type at lower right is perfectly readable in print.
R.S. Mann Jewelers
4" x 5"
This ad was originally turned down by the ad rep, but the store proprietors insisted on paying for this one rather than the much simpler ad option we presented.
Arnall Grocery
4" x 5"
Sometimes simple is best, especially when a lot of other spiffy ads are on the page. Thinking "white space".
