INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS

 

     1.  Applicants for regular membership should enclose with their application a check for three hundred ninty one ($391) dollars:  $225 initiation fee, $166 for dues.  Applicants for shooting membership should enclose a check for Four hundred and fifty one ($451) dollars. $225 initiation fee, $226 for dues.

 

     2.  Your application will be read at two regular monthly meetings (3rd Friday of the month, except April) and will be voted upon directly following the 2nd reading.  YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT THESE READINGS.  If you cannot be present YOU MUST PETITION the Board of Directors for an exemption.  After your 1st reading, but before your 2nd reading, you will be contacted by, and are required to meet with our greeting committee, at a time convenient for them and you.

      

 

 

3.  All new members, regular and shooting, must attend the Range Safety and Orientation Course, given monthly, before their membership is activated. There will be no exceptions.

 

      4.  New regular members will be assigned to a committee. They will be required to serve on that committee for their pro-rated hours plus the first full fiscal year providing at least sixteen (16) hours of service to the Association each year.  After that they may request to change their committee if opening are available.  Attendance at regular meetings counts as one (1) hour worked, up to a maximum of half of the work hour obligation (8 for full year – less for prorated).  Members will be assessed fifteen ($17.50) dollars for every hour not worked, up to the maximum of the sixteen (16) required.

 

     5.   Members are responsible for their work hours.  They must contact the committee chairman for assignments.  Committee chairmen are responsible for assigning and recording hours worked.  Please consult your chairman for work to be done and make sure you get credit for work performed.
