Welcome to Sara's page
Hi, My name is Sara Thompson.  I live in Endicott Washington.  I am a work at home mom with a goal of saving the world, one community at a time.  When I am not doing that, I have my own herbal bath and body company and I am a full-time writer.  I have been published in the Whitman County Gazette on a weekly basis since August 2005 but I have hopes of branching out and writing more.  Please visit my various sites (I know there are many) and perhaps I can interest you in joining my quest.
Endicott Washington
Sara's Soaks
My completely home-made herbal bath and body company.  All products are made by me in my kitchen.  I want to create a low-cost, high quality product for all people - man, woman and child, that is safe for sensitive skin, without chemicals and subtly fragranced.  I achieve this by purchasing from local farmers and co-ops in bulk - thus keeping my costs down so I can pass the savings on.
Come visit my community through my eyes.  We are a dying farming community that still has a lot of potential for being a prosperous and caring place to raise your family.  We do struggle but by finding strength in each other we will succeed.
Endicott is located in the Palouse region of Eastern Washington - heart of wheat and lentil country.
Endicott Educational Project
Endicott Community Co-operative
This is the brainchild of my husband and I.  A non-profit organization designed to umbrella educational, economical and community development projects and programs.  The purpose of the ECC is to provide opportunity for community members to apply for grants and create projects that will better the community on a long term basis - such as raising funds to rehab a public park.
The EEP will be under the Endicott Community Co-operative but is the real passion and purpose for creating the ECC.  Our goal is to open a family resource center that would house a business incubator for inhome businesses, a parent resource area (library with groups) and provide programs for children such as afterschool homework help.  We, also, want to have a thrift store and food bank in a seperate building.
My favorite links and others
Currently this is a site map for my entire site but will eventually have links to some of my favorite sites from educational resources to my favorite shopping sites.
