30 November 2005 - Ratings for Category 7: The End of the world have shocked critics this week, as they have beat Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire, Over 14 million people watched the made-for-TV movie on two Sunday evenings, November 6 and 13. The last part of the mini-series saw a decrease of one million people. In comparison, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" had seven million people watch it on its opening day in the US. 4 March 2005 - Shannen's Show North Shore got cancelled today, with one crew member saying "It's done, over, gone," said executive producer Harry Bring in Los Angeles. "We were told today to pack it up and close it down." Several local crew and Jim Sharp, the network's production president, confirmed the series' cancellation. No reason was given, but a Los Angeles source said it was "too-low ratings and too high a budget."

1 October 2004 - WashingtonPost.com says: Shannen Doherty. Fox added Miss Congeniality to the cast of "North Shore" last Monday and yet the prime-time soap plunged to its smallest audience ever -- 4.1 million viewers. Miss Doherty apparently is no Heather Locklear. We don't agree!

12 September 2004 - The crew of North Shore said the following about our favorite actress, Shannen Doherty and Amanda Righetti were chatting about their upcoming scenes and of course the best places to shop on the island while Brooke gave Shannen tips on how to stay cool in the hot Hawaiian sun. Which means, no set-catfights! [...] The cast rocks! We've all become like family and Shannen has fit right in. 24 August 2004 - Fox is hoping to make Mondays a bitch again. Net has signed former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Shannen Doherty to join the cast of its Monday sudser "North Shore."

9 August 2004 - Former BEVERLY HILLS 90210 star SHANNEN DOHERTY has recurring nightmares she's choking on various oversized objects.

The brunette actress admits the nocturnal images are often so vivid, she has woken up many times actually choking.

She says, "I usually choke on very large objects. I have a very large remote control for my electronic equipment, and I swallowed that once in my dream. I couldn't get it out and I was choking. When I woke up I was positive I was dying because the remote was stuck in my throat.

"And then another time I actually swallowed a washing machine. Why haven't my relationships worked out?"

While Doherty has been presented with many non-professional theories as to why she's experiencing the nightmares, she remains unaware of the cause."
