| HOW DO I JOIN? To join the Society and remain in "Active" status, you must pay annual dues each year. Please contact us to get the address of the Treasurer. DO I HAVE TO BE A DESCENDANT OF PETER FRANCISCO TO JOIN? No, you don't! There are several different memberships available in the Society. They are as follows: - Descendants: adult descendants of Peter Francisco who are at least 18 years of age - Associates: spouses of descendants of Peter Francisco - Friends: those showing an interest in the Society and who are approved by the Board. - Descendant Children: descendants who are under 18 years of age All members must be approved by the SDPF Board. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN? - Descendant ($10.00) - Associate ($10.00) - Friend ($10.00) - Descendant Children ($2.00) WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP? The benefits of joining the Society include: - receipt of SDPF Newsletters - access to records for personal research - sharing of information, personal research, etc. with other "family" members - doing your part to keep history alive and pertinent in today's fast-moving society - invitations to our two meetings per year (March: meeting in the Capitol Building in Richmond, VA, and wreath laying at Shockoe Cemetary where Peter Francisco is buried; October: fall business meeting and luncheon) |
