Abbotsford / Matsqui

The Patches listed below are of the former Matsqui Police Department. They became the Abbotsford Police Department when Abbotsford and Matsqui amalgamated.

Central Saanich

The Central Saanich Police Service is located on British Columbia's Vancouver Island. They are a small Police Department who service a diverse community.

Delta

The Delta Police Department are located between, New Westminister, Surrey and Vancouver. They provide Police Services to the communities of North Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen.

Esquimalt

The members of the Esquimalt Police Service for many years also were members of the Cities Fire Department. Now the Esquimalt Police Service stands to be amalgamated with the Victoria Police Service. The two services will be joined commencing in 2003.

Nelson

The Nelson Police Department serves a community that is a popular tourist destination in the West Kootanys of British Columbia. The City of Nelson is a lake community and their Police Service has over 100 years of dedicated service.

New Westminister

The Emergency Response Team of the New Westminister Police is one of the top teams across Canada. They routinely train with some of their best American counter parts to ensure they are always maintaining their high standards.

Port Moody

The Port Moody Police Service is one of the smaller municipal police services in the Vancouver area. They however maintain a wide range of services to their community including an Emergency Response Team.

Saanich

The Saanich Police Department is one of the largest departments, serving a community of over 100,000 on Vancouver Island. The community they serve borders the city of Victoria. They have several units which are responsible for providing for the safety of persons residing in Saanich.

Victoria

The Victoria Police Department is the oldest Canadian Police Department west of the Great Lakes. The Victoria Police Department has proven itself a leader in community based policing. They are now also slated to amalgamate with the Esquimalt Police Department to expand their area of service.

Vancouver

The Vancouver Police department is the largest Police Department in British Columbia. The Vancouver Police Department is a leader in Policing Technologies and is responsible for providing Police to the City and its ports, since the disbanding of the Ports Police. The Deputy Chief Patch in the list below is no longer in use.

West Vancouver

The West Vancouver Police Department provide Police Services to the prestine area known as West Vancouver. The Department Serves almost fifty-thousand people. The cover an area approximately 100 square kilometers in size.

First Nations Police

The Province of British Columbia has many peoples of First Nations Decent. Some of these nations are fortunate to have their own Police Services, upholding the law and the traditional beliefs of the Nation they represent.
