I have been following the Native ways since my 1st vision in Yosemite National Park in 1992. That same year, I met Dreaming Wolf while working in Tuolumne Meadows and was adopted into the Lakota Sioux way of life. I was given the name Mountain Coyote. I have since evolved from the days as a young & curious trickster, through the teachings of other Lakota and spiritual guides across the US on this sacred journey.
Among these influences and teachers have been: Wankan Tanka, Charles Fast Horse, Art Grey Wolf, Leland Spotted Eagle, Greg PlantE and the Badland Singers, Cecil White Hat, Ed Schmidt, Bob Kelly, Robin Gayle, Marta-Maria Marriccini, Albert Foote, Lowen, Paha Mato, all the people at Three Buffalo's, Indian Star, Slim Buttes, and mother Tara.
During our lives, certain events shape out ideas and philosophies more than others.
These are moments that I feel have made an impact on my life that helped to define who I am and what I learned.
