The lynx is a great spirit guide and teacher in many traditions. The lynx reminds us of the great mystery, that of the unseen. Just because most people have not seen a lynx, does not mean that they do not exist. Lynx medicine reminds us of how boring, unchallenging, and lacking in spotaniety life would be if we knew what was going to happen ever day of our lives. The lynx is that spotaniety, the surprise, the smile that warms your heart and makes you want to dance like nobody's watching. Here is another parallel with Christianity, because lynx also represents the great mystery of love and faith, Yaweh. The lynx or another member of the cat family are believe to guard the gates of Heaven. One of the four faces of the Cherub is that of a lion, one of the four rescue angels of the highest order. The lion is also the only animal with no natural born predators, with the assumption that man hunts only for competition and pride. The lynx teaches us selfless pride, to be unseen is not to retreat completely necessarily, just to remove yourself from the outcome, and remember it is the journey that matters. The Great Mystery's lesson teaches us to be here now, to realize that we don't just have to read about history in books, but that we're a part of it (and the Earth), and not apart from it. The lynx is the knower of all secrets (Sams & Carson), but getting the ghost cat to talk and reveal it's divine insight requires much patience, clarity, purity, and prayer. All we can ask Yahweh is to know his Divine Will, what he wants from us, and whtat he wants from you specifically. Realize however, that sometimes knowing doesn't always make it any easier. Remember, the truth is in your heart, God is Love, and Love is truth and it will set you free.
