   MR W R  ENTWISTLE
 
The death occurred yesterday morning, after a
    brief illness, of Mr. William Rowley Entwistle,  
    of Birkenhead.
    For the Past 20 years Mr  Entwistle had been an
    engineer on the  Birkenhead ferry Steamers, and
    previously he  was with the Kaipara Steamship
    Company,  employed on the steamers trading
    between Helensville and Northern Wairoa.
    He took an a  active part in local musical circles,
    and was a  member of the orchestra of the
    Birkenhead- Northcote Orphans' Club.
    Mr Entwistle was 66  years of age, is survived by
    Mrs Entwistle, two  sons, Messrs Rowley and
    Henry Entwistle, and  three daughters,
    Seeta Milestone, Ruth Arnold, nd Zoe Entwistle.

              William was b.  28 Aug 1863, Dorchester, England.
              He was in the Royal Cavalary in India.
     d.    20 March 1930      bur. Glenfield/ Birkenhead Cemetery, Auckland, NZ
