DECEMBER 3rd, 1997 -- Start: Mission Bay Visitors Center Following MARY POPPINS' philosophy (loosely applied) that sometimes it's best to be a wimp, having a sore knee from the NORTH-SOUTH INTERCOURSE and running late, I went to the start to find out where the end was. It was about 7:30 PM and the B-van was still locked at the start and no end was written. There was only what appeared to be a map on the driver's seat which I could not read in the dim lamp light. Fortunately I had written down PROZAC's address from the Hash directory and found the ON-IN. A few other wimps (or gimps?) were already there. CAPTAIN ZERO was either conserving his energy for his next shoot or too tired from his last shoot, COCKEYE, and a few others were already there. BUNS OF FUN finally arrived with the B-van, the van was unloaded, and had to go back to mark the end. Eventually the pack straggled in. From their comments, the trail apparently covered most of the Clairmont-Bay Park area, or at least the pack did. No wonder BORT can train for marathons by just hashing! The hares and helpers provided a real feast: turkey, sausage, pasta, salads, and more. DOWN-DOWNs happened. Some private parties were dealt with and other scofflaws escaped. I drank for something, but can't remember why. The Sisters Superior ziggy-zaggied. RAT TRAP kept the hashshit for RAT's transgressions. We all admired the light and view from PROZAC's back yard. Thanks for the hospitality!
