Technology shapes our lives, changes the way we do buisness and attempts to put that ease and convience we are looking for in our lives. But it seems that with every new step in technology, people become more fearful of it. In my experience, the most often feared piece of technology is the computer. People simply do not trust themselves with the technology of a computer. In reality, a computer is very difficult to harm and has many safety devices that make it fairly easy for even the newest owners to use.

While many people do eventually become acclimated with the computer environment, many still do not choose to become familiar with the internal workings of their investment. This area is often regarded as very dangerous to even open up. However, with just a little experience one can build a computer form scratch on their own. Those who are afraid of this technology are often afraid because they figure technology must equal difficult to put together. Really, a computer is somewhat like a construction set to put together. The instructions are right in front of you, the pieces screw or snap together and once its together, its done. With the ease of building a computer the only thing that stands in someone's way is their fear of technology...
