Program:
REPORTS:

CDE: Anna Borges was at our meeting. She informed us that CDE is going to start alternating Instructor/Coordinators each year. We will have Anna one more year. There have also been some changes at the Academy. Anna is the Lead Instructor, Danno is in the Field. Anna, Bob, Karen, Dewell, and Matt will be the main Instructors. Mat and Karen are the Instructor's for the Special Needs Class. Karen is the Instructor for the Mountain Driving Class. New Classroom Manual should be out next Fall. Anna wanted to remind us about the change to Title 5 Regulation 141105 concerning Lap Shoulder Restraints, and the new cell phone regulation. She also informed us the Idling Regulation did not go through as law, it will remain a Regulation. Also, new T0-2 forms are out.

OLD BUSINESS:

SURVEY ATTENDANCE:  Merit reported on the outcome of the survey on attendance. Changing meetings to evenings, etc. did not seem to matter. The biggest reason many cannot attend is because of the work load. Meetings will be kept as they are. The idea to combine a CASTO meeting once in awhile was thought to be good. The Instructor's List is being updated. Please let us know of any changes in address, e-mail, phone #'s.

NEW BUSINESS:

ATTRACTION: Susie Reese will be giving an in-service on the Changes in the California Vehicle Code 2005 at our next meeting on January 12, 2005.

ACCOUNT MONEY: Balance on 12/8/04 (after today's 50/50): $65.50.

GOOD OF THE ORDER: Chuck Ashley of VISION MIRRORS is recovering from cancer surgery. Members agreed to send a get well card and to express we miss him and are looking forward to seeing him again.
