Diane began with introductions. Last meeting minutes were corrected and approved. CDE should be DOE. Karen Boyed has a good power point on "School Bus Watch" instead of "Highway Watch".

CHP: Don Fields, Oceanside's new Officer was present.
Robert Banks is back.
In reference to last mnoth's minutes and the information given to call Jantze Douglas with the CHP Commercial Vehicle Section regarding the Social Security cards and other issues, Robert Banks reported: Jantze has been swarmed with calls and has asked that we call our CHP Office Coordinator or Area Coordinator: Glenn Oates 858-650-3600.
New 295 form is out - work history is included.

CASTO:

• Changes; CASTO Conference - originally scheduled for the end of March, now April 8-10. CASTO website has some new changes.
• Special Needs Roadeo - originally February 4, now January 21, 2006. We need more help and competitors. Drivers and aides can now flip flop and trade. You can also take all day to to take the written test, (carry it around with you, open book). Special Needs
• Roadeo to be at Lake Elsinore Transportation Yard. 21641 Bundy Canyon Rd, Wildomar, CA
• March 11 2006 - Regular roadeo.

• Now taking nominations for "Member of the Year".
• School bus poster contest - 2006 CASTO theme: "The School Bus For Sure is Safe and Secure". Open to all students grades K-8. Posters are due back by December 1, 2005 to SDUSD Transportation, ATTN: LAuren Murphy, 4710 Cardin St, SD 92111, or CASTO meeting by December 8.

SOCIAL SECURITY CARD:  Kevin Wedemeyer talked with Jesse regarding his requirement for applicants to have their SS Card or a copy (he will take a copy). Jesse explained he is given the wrong information a lot of the time or bad checks. This is another way of being able to keep the correct information with the correct driver.
