Meeting was called to order at 10:15 a.m.

Merit wished to convey condolences to all of the fire victims from the fire storm and if the instructor's council can be of any help, please call one of us.

Program: Our program was from the Institute of Transportation Safety and was concerning Road Rage. Our speaker was Jerry Wittrien. This program was to raise the general awareness of aggressive driving and how to modify behavior. Thanks Jerry!
REPORTS:

CDE: There will be a workshop here in San Diego on December 11th in the evening at 6:30-8:30 pm. Check the website for more information. Anna Borges will be here at the December meeting but will not have a manual up-date. Possibly have the up-date in Februrary.

CHP: Robert informed us that Dan Barr had just completed the program up at State. El Cajon will not be testing during the week of November 24th thru 28th.

MOTOR CARRIER: None

CASTO: Mechanics Workshop is December 6th. Flyers were handed out. Driver's Workshop has been postponed and the decision will be next week at the CASTO meeting. Check Chapter 3's website for more information.

OLD BUSINESS:

QUESTION OF THE DAY: The question of how long a pre-trip should be was discussed in great detail. This is a hot issue! No recommendation will be coming from the Instructor's Council. What time does your District/Employer allow?

HOSPITALITY: Cat and Terri are the chair persons and will be in charge of snacks for the next meeting.

50/50: The drawing was for a total of $19.00. Tickets will be at the next meeting. Maybe we will find out who won this amount at the next meeting?

NEW BUSINESS:

TOYS FOR TOTS: Bring your new unwrapped gifts for children at the next meeting and we will make sure that it gets to the proper place. Also you can give gift cards from various stores and they will be greatly appreciated.

SCHOOL BUS ADVISORY COMMITTEE: Larry Howie reproted that there is a possible change in law coming our way and if we had a comment on that change we needed to make contact with the Committee.
