| Meeting was called to
order at 10:06 a.m. Meeting was brought to order by volunteers, Karen Boyd,
Patti Bielma and Sara Hoege as the elected officers were unable to attend
this meeting. Introductions - San Marcos Instructor, Liz Delsenhammer introduced the new director Bert Dodd. Welcome. Minutes for November were read/approved. Minutes for December were read/approved. |

| OLD BUSINESS:
Rick Lynch (Temecula) updated item on buses stopping at the weigh stations for inpections. Cat Saunders (Poway) brought up the hospitality committee. Should we continue to provide refreshments at the meetings? Motion to discontinue providing food was made/seconded/passed. Chuck Ashely (Vision Manufacturing) discussed mirror video committee. Diane Turner (Santee) said she had a good mirror video she would bring to share at a future date. Committee has met to decide what direction the video should take. Was the letter to John Green asking for copies of the DOE video was discussed/tabled until next meeting. Cat Saunders (Poway) discussed CASTO State Board Meeting. Items included instructors classes, 15 passenger vans, bus idling laws, conference, rodeo handbooks, CASBO information, Fire Relief Program. Robert Banks (CHP El Cajon) stated no testing on 2/5 and 2/12. |

Susie Reese (Grossmont) brought up 13 CAC 1226 changes concerning the Interlock buses being designated for special needs buses only. need to consider using interlocks on all buses. Decided to discuss this item at a future meeting. Special Needs Roadeo (Kevin Wedemeyer, Sweetwater) will be held 2/7/04 in Fontana.
