In Memory Of . . .
Hello, and Thank you for visiting! This particular page of my site is dedicated to all of the loving memories that my dog, Princess, brought me.
On August 24th, we had to have her put to sleep. She began to have ceasures, and suspect that she may have had a Pituitary Tumor (the same as I had).
She was a regular Chihuahua, but was the Runt of her litter. When she passed away she weighed more than ever before, 3 lb.. When she was born, she was so small that she was easily confused for a small mouse. Dad used to wear T-Shirts with pockets on the front, she would fit, tail and all, into the pocket. She even had her own purse that mom would carry her in.
Growing up, my sister Alexia and I would get jealous because she seemed to get more attention over us. Although as I got older I didn't mind. I started to realize that whenever anyone would carry her, women would come from everywhere to see her. Me and dad used to fight on who got to hold her. She was a little Chic Magnet!
Princess was also a great part of my healing process. Even before my surgery, but especially after. She was always there to lick my tears when I would cry out of depression, or simply out of frustration that life wasn't what it used to be. She was always there to love and snuggle up to me when I was sick and didn't feel good!
Dogs are so smart, she knew, even before my surgery, that something was wrong with me. She became very protective of me! I love her and miss her so much! Although I just keep reminding myself that she is in a much happier place now!
Here are some photos of Princess:

This is a picture of Princess, and the odd orange looking is Mr. Squeak, her "baby". The vet said she was too small to have a baby, so every year when the time came she thought she had Mr. Squeak as her baby. She would even nurse him, and choose one of the family members to be the father. The father had to babysit for awhile at times. |
This a picture of Princess and Dad, they were "Two Peas in a Pod". Since Princess was the runt of her litter, some parts of her body were bigger than others, especially the tongue. When she would get lazy and relaxed (as in picture above) her tongue would hang out, further and further. It was so quiet. |
