COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES

1.	The committee chair shall be primarily responsible for 
organizing and recruiting committee volunteers.

2.	The chair shall convene and preside over committee 
meetings.

3.	The chair shall report committee activities and progress 
during regular member meetings.

4.	The committee shall identify activities they want to 
complete, who will be involved, and timelines for 
completion.

5.	All committee members shall be responsible for helping 
with the organizing of all committee activities, recruiting 
volunteers, and for participating in and completing 
activities.

COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS

Please check which of the Committees want to volunteer for. Please make sure you complete a 
membership form if want to volunteer for a committee.

_____Recruitment: This committee will be responsible for recruiting new members.

_____Member Support & Accommodations: responsible for identify ways, means and 
resources of providing club members and potential new members the support they 
require to fully access and participate in all club meetings and activities including but not 
limited to support involving qualified sign language interpreters, communication 
technology, accessibility, alternate formats, and transportation.

_____Fund Raising: responsible for fundraising activities to support club activities and 
candidate elections.

_____Voter Registration/Get Out the Vote: responsible for engaging in voter registration 
activities and get out the vote activities on and before election day.

_____Public Relations/Media/Speakers: responsible for communicating the activities of the 
club to the general public, the media, and other groups.

_____Candidate Endorsement: Responsible for contacting Democratic Candidates and 
identifying their position with respect to the California Democratic Party Disability 
Plank.
