| The Southern Delta Church of Wicca-ATC would like to welcome your family to our event! To better ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone at these gatherings, we have set some guidelines as well as planned some fun activities. Everyone is required to follow the guidelines. If they are not adhered to, security and/or SDCW-ATC will decide what action is taken depending on the severity of the problem. Actions could be as simple as a warning or as serious as asking the problem person to leave the event. Please read these guidelines to your child as well, and we hope you and your family have a blissful time at this gathering. 1) The Southern Delta Church of Wicca-ATC does hereby state that all events and activities are rated PG-13 because some material discussed at our gatherings may be deemed unsuitable by some parents with children under the age of 13. We CANNOT censure the language of others at our gatherings and feel parents SHOULD BE AWARE that graphic language and conversations do occur and we CANNOT guarantee your child may not overhear a word or conversation. 2) We DO NOT allow illegal drugs on these premises or at any Church function directed or sanctioned by this Church. We DO NOT allow anyone on strong prescription or non-prescription medication to participate in rituals. All people shall be treated with respect at all times. 12) We expect all students, visitors and family to uphold the laws of the land as well as the rules, etiquette of the Wiccan/Pagan community. *All children MUST wear armbands for identity purposes. This is for your childs safety! *All children MUST have their pictures taken with their parents or guardians for security purposes. *Children 10 and under MUST be supervised by a parent or other caregiver AT ALL TIMES (yes, you can leave them in our care in workshops, and activities when scheduled). Older kids may wander a bit more, however, keep in mind the responsibility level of your child which is only known by you, and YOU are held responsible for them. Let them know YOUR guidelines. If you have not already discussed this with your child, then now is a good time to go over it, just in case. *If children are playing in the cabins, they MUST leave the door open (unless a parent/adult is supervising) * Children MUST play in open areas away from the forest, where they can be generally supervised. * Beginning at dusk all children 10 and under MUST be supervised by an adult while outside of the buildings. This means they WILL NOT be allowed to roam the grounds, go to and from cabins to dining hall or other places without an adult. If any children are found wondering after dusk, security will locate the parents to get their child and a report may be filed. *The curfew for children (10 and under) to be in their cabins is 10pm. If any children are found wondering after 10pm without a parent or guardian, security will locate the parents to get their child and a report may have to be filed * If your child or children, are not old enough or able to be alone in their cabin after curfew and stay there, the parent is EXPECTED to stay with their child unless they have a sitter. Just like at home! *Children under the age of 18 ARE NOT allowed to carry or purchase blades, (if your child has a ritual blade, it may be used in ritual however, it MUST be given to the parent before leaving the ritual area) if a child is caught with a blade it will be confiscated immediately and released only to the parent or may be held until the end of the festival. *Children ARE NOT allowed to run or ride through the dormitory porches. This is disruptive to those trying to sleep, meditate or relax. |
