Benjamin Samson was the third son of George Sr and wife Elizabeth (Sprague) Samson. Benjamin married Margaret Parker 4 May 1710, possibly the daughter of Nathaniel Parker and Lois Rogers of Scituate. Benjamin and Margaret dwelt in Plympton, in a house standing on the west side of a turn in the road running westward from the Burying-Ground to Halifax. It stood on the site of the house occupied in 1832 by their great-grandson Peleg Sampson. Benjamin and Margaret were both members of the church in Plympton, and were admitted as members in the time of the Rev. Isaac Cushman.
Benjamin Samson died July 22, 1762, age 75 years, 9 months, and 22 days, reckoning by New Style. His wife Margaret died Sept. 17, 1759, age 79 Margaret Samson's Stone
