Abiah (or Obiah) (Whitmarsh) Sampson, dau. of Richard Whitmarsh of Abington. married Zabdiel SAMPSON, the son of George SAMPSON (March 10, 1690-1-6 Feb 1774) & Hannah SOULE (18 Mar 1696-22 Sep 1776). She and her husband became members of the Church in Plympton in 1763. She died Dec. 26, 1800, age 77. Zabdiel Sampson, who married (2)Abiah Whitmarsh, died in battle at Harlem, NY on 16 Sep 1776.
