Germany

I LOVE Germany. My Aunt lives in a little place called Hildesheim where they paint roses on the pavement to direct you towards church. Hm...

My great Aunt and Uncle live in an enchanting little town called Walkenreid with a backyard bordered by a little brook. They have cherry trees, a strawberry patch, and all these other fruits that I've never seen before in the States.

Frankfurt kinda reminded me of Manhattan but cleaner and smaller. I could work here one day...

Hiking up Philosopher's Way in Heidelberg, there was so much to see. Old ruins, Hitler's old Amphitheater, and a most spectacular sight when you reach the top of the hike and see old Heidelberg Castle far far away (not pictured)...

Taking a boat cruise down the Neckar River by Heidelberg, I went on a Castle Hunt. This one that's pictured is actually occupied (I'm told Castles have high heating costs.)

In Speyer, I saw the oldest bottle of wine (real gross looking thing) and inside Heidelberg Castle is the biggest Wine Barrel ever! Containing almost 222 Liters of wine - imagine how many parties that would serve!
